Pros:The space is beautiful with a great view, and the pool and deck were perfect for relaxing after a long day. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped with good appliances. The neighbourhood felt very safe, and it’s about a 15 min walk to the nearest beach.Cons:The main downside for our group was the limited supply of basic items. For 8 adults staying 5 nights, we were surprised to find only a few rolls of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 trash bag, and no body soap in the showers. When I asked Veronique about this, she explained that they only provide a “starter kit.” Unfortunately, this was quite inconvenient, especially since many supermarkets in the area close early - and we began running out of essentials by the second day. In my experience with other home rental stays, hosts typically provide enough supplies for the full duration (e.g., one dishwasher tablet per night). Given that this is a high-end villa, I expected more attention to these details.Checkout could also have been smoother. Although checkout was at 10am, the host and concierge arrived at 9:30am to inspect the house, and cleaners began entering while we were still there. It felt awkward to go through this process while still occupying the space, and it’s not something I’ve experienced before.Overall:I would still recommend staying here, the property itself is lovely, but I’d suggest coming prepared with extra supplies and expecting a more hands-on checkout process.
