Return Holiday to Sainte Marie de Re

This was our second stay With Dominique! We are a small family (2 parents & 2 young children) and we really enjoyed our second stay in this location! Its such a nice property and our kids love the pool too. Dominique is a great host and a very kind person too.

Lovely all over

We had great time at this property. Dominique was fantastic host. Property was clean and had all we needed. We would highly recommend this property for anyone's holidays. We are considering to re-book for our next holiday.

Excellent base for exploring

An excellent base a short ride from Saint Marie and on cycle paths for easy access the La Flotte, St. Martin, Le Bois Plage and beyond. The property is compact but a perfect base. The twin bedroom has low pitched ceiling so best suited to younger children. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The outdoor area was lovely and the pool was cleaned meticulously morning and evening. The host was superb, putting out bbq-ing equipment on request and even organising bed linen and towels on the day of arrival as we had overlooked that they were not included. Highly recommended

Fabulous -just as described

Just left today after a lovely week. House is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Pool is great and area quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend hiring bikes as whole island very easy to get around. Upper room is limited height for adults so better for teens/ kids room. You won’t spend much time in it though so not a problem! Dominique and Jean-Luc although very discreet were always there when needed and couldn’t do more for us. Thank you both so much. We are very grateful to you.

Leuk verblijf op Ile de Ré!

Een compact huisje op een verzorgd domein. Prima voorzieningen en ideaal voor een gezin van 4 met kinderen. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk. Leuke ligging om het eiland te verkennen.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le gîte est tout à fait conforme à la description, très propre et bien équipé. La piscine a été très appréciée par nous tous. Le cadre est très agréable. Très joli jardin, un petit coin de nature idéal pour se détendre. Hôtes très sympathiques et accueillants. Très belle région, superbes paysages, de belles activités à faire.

Pas conçu pour 4 adultes

Très bon accueil et emplacement idéal En revanche location minimaliste (pas de placard pour ranger l’alimentation, les placards de cuisine déjà emplis par vaisselle, pas de banquette (uniquement 2 fauteuils) séjour très petit et 2ème chambre sous les toits très pentue (pas conçue pour les grandes tailles)

Logement agréable, situation idéale

Dominique nous a chaleureusement accueillis jusqu'au logement. Le logement est agréable et nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse ensoleillée. L'emplacement entre mer et bois est idéale pour profiter à la foi de la mer, à quelques coups de pédales à vélo et de la campagne rhétaise. La situation géographique permet aussi de visiter assez facilement les autres villes de l'ile. Nos hôtes, Dominique et Jean-Luc nous ont très gentiment proposé leur aide pour le transfert de nos bagages au point de départ de la navette vers La Rochelle. Très agréable séjour que je recommande sans hésitation !
