Lovely stay - the pool was great and the motel within easy walking distance to a good range of eateries. The room was clean, well-appointed and dark for sleeping. Would have been good to have seats outside the room after a day of driving. Would definitely stay again.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. Made it a pleasure. This might sound silly, but in much more salubrious places we’ve stayed, there is only one chair. The Matador had two around the table, plus one at the desk! Too easy. One of us didn’t have to perch on the bed.
Could do with a bit of a freshing up with paint work here and there but the bathroom and toiletries were super. Including “Who Gives A Crap” loo roll!!
One of the best country motels. Right in town, 2 blocks from the shopping centre and supermarket, over the road from the Port of Sale and great breakfast included in the price. There is nothing not to like
Clean room, good bathroom and comfortable bed. They let us check in slightly early which was appreciated on a very hot day. The continental breakfast was more than adequate.
Had a great stay here. Really convenient location, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, breakfast was satisfying, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Would love to come back!
