The property itself was fantastic. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good decor with wonderful en-suite. Unfortunately we had a bedroom at the front of the property so we’re on the busy road and right by the side of the railway station so very noisy. Breakfast voucher for hetty belles was brilliant lots on offer.

Caboose was a rare find: walking distance to train station (2 minutes), Salisbury Cathedral (approx 10 minutes), and all the shops, restaurants, sights, and pubs in between. Breakfast was a few doors down, at the Hettie Bells pub and coffee shop - loads of choice. Make sure to go back for a pint in the afternoon/ evening - the pub is charming, and on a sunny day, the large outdoor area is buzzing. The room was small, but well appointed with modern bath, lovely crisp linens, and comfy bed. Just a note - check-in is a few doors down, at the Hettie Bell. It was quite convenient - we were able to leave our bags when we arrived mid- morning, then roll up late afternoon to check in, grab our bags and head to Caboose. Both properties are owned by the same individual.

Quaint & quirky!

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars on overall experience were the narrow stairs and so many of them. We are Seniors with limited mobility. We made it work, just had to take our time.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salisbury.

The Caboose now has an arrangement with the Hattie Bells pub a few doors up (or down), for them to host the guest rooms and to provide breakfast. Easy check in and was given complimentary giant cookies and small flask of fresh milk on arrival to the room. Room was large, clean and warm. A £20 breakfast voucher was provided and that was more than enough to cover what I wanted. The one member of staff who I had contact with from check in to check out was friendly and helpful and deserves a salary increase.

Very nice hotel close to train station.

I had a great one night stay at the Caboose, incredibly convenient to the train station. My room and bathroom were very clean, with great amenities. The breakfast was included, and had good choices.

A warm welcome at the pub a few doors down. The room and bathroom is small but well laid out. Very convenient for walking into Salisbury and close to the station. A basic breakfast provided from the cafe next to the pub, where you can get a good coffee.

Simply Stunning

Gosh I have stayed in hotels around the world but have never experienced such generosity and kindness that I did with the staff of this hotel. The place was magnificent and the room was fully kitted- centrally located with beautiful views. The breakfast was excellent and so generously served. Those ladies and the man at checkout were so delightful. Stayed in many hotels in Salisbury but this definitely outwits the rest especially with its great price and proximity to all tourist attractions and the cathedral. Will recommend it anytime. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Evelyn Samuel and Dr. K Pilcher

Did the job, close to train and Stonehenge bus. Walkable to town and the meadows by the Salisbury Cathedral. The pub is a good place for a pint. The breakfast is good for one time, but quickly becomes boring from lack of options, especially healthy or vegetarian fare. We slept well here and the cleaning was great.

Great value

Great room, but not great location. Immaculate and totally updated. Hard to find because it doesn’t have an obvious entrance. Note that it is not handicapped accessible. All rooms require walking upstairs. Looks almost industrial. Breakfast was wonderful with super staff. Voucher was provided for breakfast at Hette Bells, two doors down the street from room. They also have a great pub that isn’t obvious from the street. It has a good selection of food and beers. Very local.
