Nestled in a secluded wooded valley on the edge of the pretty village of Ashmore, delightful Magna Cottage is full of charm, and an ideal cottage for those seeking peace and tranquillity.
The cottage has a cosy sitting room with inglenook fireplace, and invites you to relax and unwind in front of the open fire. The dining room is the perfect space in which to gather together enjoying a tasty meal, and the well-equipped kitchen ensures that meal preparation is easy. Four pretty bedrooms on the first floor include two double rooms, and two twin bedrooms; a family bathroom and separate ground floor shower room complete the accommodation at this delightful thatched holiday home.
Sitting within its own one-acre lawned garden, with orchard and beautiful mature trees, Magna Cottage is perfect for families, and the picnic table and benches are ideal for sharing alfresco meals and enjoying nature.
There is direct access to numerous footpaths and forest walks right from the cottage, and the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens are close by. National Trust owned Win Green, Melbury and Fontmell Downs within easy reach, each affording exceptional views across the Cranborne Chase. Ideally situated for exploring the delights of both Dorset and Wiltshire, Magna Cottage enjoys a convenient location, with Shaftesbury, Tisbury, Blandford and Salisbury all just a pleasant drive away.
