The hotel was dirty and it smelled so bad it was making us sick. We actually checked out early and didn’t stay the second night because the whole hotel smelled so bad.

The sidewalks around the building are very dirty the dog poop is everywhere nobody picks their dog's poop. and in Indian restaurant their chicken was stale.

The motel is close to the freeway (I-80) easy on easy off. Close to restaurants and fuel. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but no place to set anything down and no place to hang towels. The price was good for the night stay.

Run down, seemed like no one cared...there's 2 car's on the property without wheels and tires; on blocks. External door's could not be locked, so there was really no securiyy

I stayed here for five nights. First, THE ROOMS DO NOT LOOK LIKE the ones shown in picture. I can not emphasize enough on how different the reality is from the one shown in picture. The hotel has been renovated but the upgrades are unable to hide the age of the building. I was given the last room that is a good 6 minutes walk from the lobby. The door was crooked and there was at least an inch wide gap between the door and the frame, and the door was jittery. One of the nights, someone knocked on my door and kept twisting the handle. They wouldn't leave. The other night, the room above me was rented to a couple that went at it all night, and all night I stayed awake listening to literal screams (and pretty sure they were fake). The floor has no carpeting - just cold laminate which gets extreme cold if it is cold outside. Still, the room was clean - I will give that. The breakfast options were extremely limited, and disappointing. I would have overlooked everything if I hadn't looked at the hotel pictures. The pictures were the reason I booked my stay. It is clear deception to photoshop the heck out of the pictures. I am sorry to say, I will never book this hotel again. If the hotel is actually sorry for my bad experience, they should refund my money.

I'd stay again

The Clarion was nice and convenient. The room had an awkward smell upon entry but you get used to it bc it didn't bother me much after. My biggest complaint was that the heater didn't work and blew cold air. I let them know and maintenance came very quickly and fixed it, but during the night it went out again. The bar was very friendly not the best food but what you'd expect. Bartender Cristion (with an O) made a very nice cocktail. The work out room needs to be updated as none of the machines worked safely and the pool was closed. The free breakfast was nice and what you'd expect. Overall for the great price and convenience Id stay again.

The hotel had lots of people hanging around in the halls. People in the smoking areas were smoking a lot more than tobacco. No hot water in the morning, in fact no water at all came out of the hot water tap. Sat in the only chair in the room to put on my socks in the morning and discovered a hypodermic syringe stuffed in beside the cushion Needless to say I won't be going near this place again.
