I have four things I think are important for a hotel room. Clean room comfortable bed good shower and decent Internet connection. The spark scored a perfect 5 and had a easy check in and decent parking as well. And the price was very reasonable as well

The staff was curteous and helpful. We hadn't tried a Spark hotel before, so we weren't sure what to expect. The room was smaller than most hotel rooms (Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn), and there was no closet. But, there were some hooks on the wall to hang some coats. There was a fridge and iron, but no microwave. The bed was ok... not great, not bad. Same with the pillows. We had stayed in a Holiday Inn Express the night before and the overall experience (mattress, pillows, breakfast, etc] was much better there than at Spark. The biggest negative for us was the breakfast. The breakfast was supposed to be from 6AM - 10AM. We had a flight to catch, so we got down to breakfast shortly after 6. The cereal wasn't set up. There were some boiled eggs and some bagels. There was no hot food, but we were told that the hot food didn't start until 7 AM, after the Perkins opened up next door and brought food over. About 6:20, someone showed up and set up the cereal and some toppings for oatmeal. We had to leave at 6:30, so we did have a guick bite. The best thing here was the friendliness of the staff.

Rooms were more then i hoped for, the elevator was a little finicky. Which it would keep opening, but overall my stay was very great! Pools were clean as well, and the hot tub felt great!

Check in was quick and easy. Room was okay. Clean, which is nuch appreciated, but a few issues. Walked in and the first thing I noticed was the smoke detector hanging down the from the ceiling. Not sure how safe that is. Secondly, I took a shower with lukewarm water. Had the hot turned on all the way, and it just never came. Lastly the noise. I dont know if it was because my room was right next to the elevator or the walls are just super thin, but man was there so much noise! I feel like I could hear everything and that people could hear me.

The hotel staff was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Issues were hot tub was not operating properly during my stay and live TV didn't work in my room. Also these big construction trucks park on the side of the road near the hotel making it difficult to get to the parking lot. Otherwise decent hotel.

The staff was very courteous and the pool and jacuzzi were definitely high point for me, but of the six days we were there, we only had hot water for three. There was no microwave in the room, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was not open during the hours it said it would be open. Small issues, but room for improvement. It’s great if you just need a crash pad.
