Pool was great with plenty of places to relax. The property was beautiful and well kept. The lady that received us was very friendly and informative. They also have chairs and umbrellas that they allow people to take to the beach. The room was beautiful but the bathroom area had a smell of urine for some reason. The other downside was that the lady working when we arrived said the breakfast was $8 American dollars each, but we were charged 8000 colons by the man who was there at checkout. When I told him it was supposed to be $8 he insisted that I was wrong. I showed him that it said $10 on the Expedia site and told him the woman had said $8, but he said that was an old price from 10 years ago. I paid and left frustrated and somewhat upset.

Had a booking confirmation but were told after 5h drive they didn’t have a room and it was ‘resolved’ with Expedia. Expedia ended up compensating but seemed to have been a maintenance issue on Belvedere’s side and bad communication. I highly recommend the hideaway hotel who ‘rescued’ us.

Wir waren im Juni 2025 im Hotel Belvedere, Samara. Für dieses Hotel vergeben wir 10 von 5 möglichen Sternen. Gebucht hatten wir einen der beiden Luxus-Bungalows, die keine Wünsche offen lassen. Super eingerichtet bis hin zu Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und einem kleinen Safe. Die Besitzer, Michaela und Manfred, haben hier ein kleines Paradies erschaffen. Sie kümmern sich sehr liebevoll um ihre Gäste und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr fleißig. Die Zimmermädchen machen eine hervorragende Arbeit und die wunderschöne Anlage wird ständig gepflegt und verschönert. Wir waren hier für 13 Nächte und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Das optionale Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich und lecker. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Einfach ein tolles Urlaubsdomizil, dass wir sehr empfehlen können. Eine schöne Zeit dort wünschen euch Anja und Albert.

Michelle was very busy but sweet and happy to help.This hotel is special. nice deep pool in centre. Room was small, low ceilings, inexpensive style drapes. sm fridge and safe. just a fairly small dark room. bathroom tiny but with towels and everything needed. small table and seats out front on tiny patio. the pool area is nice to meet folks and chat. loads of plants and veg around paths which basically create the beautiful surroundings that make you wanna come back!!

My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. The beach is a 5-minute walk at most yet you are still off of the main street so there is no street noise. The landscaping on the grounds is beautiful and we loved out private balcony. Our only feedback is that the pillows are quite large, they could have been half the height and our necks would have been a bit more comfortable. Other than that perfect stay and we will be back!
