Located in the charming and culinary-focused neighborhood Little Italy, this private loft is in a prime location for exploring San Diego.

The space
Modern Bohemian charm with tall ceiling to floor windows that let in amazing bright light. Enjoy this three level downtown loft in the heart of the City.
Guest access
You get full access to the majority of the house (except for the garage). Please enjoy the full kitchen (with pots and pans) along with the patio/balconies!
Other things to note
Sorry there is no access to the Garage (double sided lock), as it houses my Turo rental car (Acura NSX, ask if you’d like to rent it from me on Turo too)

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend recently . The owner (Michael) was extremely communicative and his responses to our inquiries were immediate. He is a very accommodating owner. The property location is awesome, adjacent to Little Italy and short walks to restaurants, bars and cafes. Also, short walk to the waterfront. There are two bedrooms, the loft bedroom on the top floor is great. The middle floor is kitchen, half bath and Living Room. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and since there were two of us not needed, but it’s kinda of isolated from the rest of the house. Lots of stairs which wasn’t an issue for us even at 60. Full blown laundry room as well. I definitely recommend.

It was a perfect location for our family (me, wife, 9 & 7 year olds) for 5 days. A few steps to tons of restaurants and short walk to the water. Everywhere in SD was 10 min uber away (zoo, Coronado, Gaslamp, etc). La Jolla was only 20 mins. There were city noises but same you’d find anywhere else and we knew that when staying in a busy city. Michael was quick to get back to me with any questions I had. Would definitely recommend if spending time in San Diego.

We had the most amazing time staying here in Little Italy. The noise that was mentioned in other reviews was not bad at all. It becomes background noise within 24 hours or less. The host is super responsive and fixed a very small issue immediately. Beds were super comfy and clean. I loved it here and would definitely come back.!!

Family Getaway in San Diego

The property is clean, well appointed and in a great location. The host was prompt with communications and everything went very smoothly. The only drawback for us was the noise from nearby trains, and late-night bar customers.Otherwise, we walked everywhere, Ubered back at the end of the day and had a great visit to San Diego!

Great stay!

This was the perfect layout for a girls weekend. Both of us had our own space, but also great living area to hang out. Each floor has outdoor patio or balcony as well! Most of all though, this was the perfect location to enjoy downtown San Diego. Walking distance to Little Italy and short rideshare to Gaslamp. We had a great time!

Worst Experience We Have Ever Had!!!!!!!!!

We visit San Diego regularly, specifically Little Italy. We have never been in a situation where the host provided ear plugs on every night stand in the house. What was supposed to be a pleasant trip to see family and friends for Thanksgiving became a weekend nightmare. The train would be going by close to every 10-15 minutes all night long. We would hear this ringing all throughout the night and to the point where when the ringing would stop, it would continue to play in our head. We got absolutely no prior knowledge of this issue, resulting in no sleep for 2 nights. Consequently, we cut our trip short before the third night to get some much needed sleep. Safe to say we will never stay here again, and would strongly suggest that anyone who would have an issue with this stay far far away from this place. We travel to San Diego at least twice a month, and can without a doubt say this was the worst experience we have ever had there. You can search on youtube, "nightmare vacation in little italy" to see and hear what I am talking about.

Great place! Very spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, there were 3 of us and only 2 bedrooms so it was nice they had an air mattress. Great place! Great location!

Loved the location. Excellent restaurants and bars within a block. But wasn’t deep in the nonsense. Unit was great and presented as advertised. Fully equipped. We wanted for nothing. Communication with host was exceptional. Would absolutely stay here again. Well done M!!

Interesting 3 level apartment style

Main level full kitchen has all you need. Impressed with open living room /kitchen. Very bright and airy area. Close to restaurants. It's very noisy though. Wear earplugs if you rest during the day and night if trains keep you up. Bedroom downstairs with private bath and large bedroom upstairs with private bath. Very noisy...construction across the street and trains pass a block away. Close to airport...

Conveniently located home

Easy walking access in the Little Italy neighborhood. Can be loud in the evenings due to music & patrons at the restaurant/bars in the neighborhood. Be prepared for all the stairs in the unit which can be challenging for older people.

Beautiful apartment

Really enjoyed the property, beautiful clean apartment, within walking distance from many shops and restaurants including a large farmers market on Saturdays. A lot of noise from club across the street so if your looking for a quiet place to stay this is not the one for u. However if you want to be close to the party scene then look no further. Warning lots of stairs

Great location downtown.

The beds were really comfortable. The location was great. Parking garage across the street was $42. We had an issue with the front door lock at first but managed to work it out. Overall the stay was good and we liked the location.

Location, location, location!

This property sits two blocks from the water and one block from India St (central Little Italy). The Little Italy Farmer's Market is AMAZING! House is also across the street from a fabulous Mexican bar/restaurant. Coffee shops, 7-11, and Rite Aid all super close. The house itself was also great! Definitely coming back!

Wonderful location!

Michael was always in contact with me and the check in was a little tricky but it all worked out. For some reason, I was not able to use the August Home app but it was my phone. I'm glad for the backup option and it was no big deal. The place was pretty clean and we had everything we needed. The location is awesome! Just a short walk to the train and restaurants. Uber/Lyft/Taxi all are good options and were quick to arrive. We did not want to deal with a rental car & parking and really do not need. Overall a great stay and love San Diego! There is so much to do and great restaurants!

Perfect for a downtown vibe

This property is perfect for those wanting a downtown experience. Pros: 1. Steps away from restaurants and bars in the Little Italy section of San Diego. 2. The loft has a huge window that allows lots of natural light to the top 2 floors, you can even see the water from the couch! 3. The host is super responsive 4. Very tasteful furniture/decorations that maximize space Things to consider: 1. There is some noise from the bar across the street until late at night 2. Parking is not included, there were lots of options around the unit for about $30 per night 3. This loft has 3 levels which I didn't fully understand from the listing. When you enter the building you walk upstairs to a "main" level where this is a kitchen, bath and TV area. You can walk another set of stairs up to the the "master" bed, bath and laundry. I didn't realize the 2nd bedroom was down a flight of stairs in the basement or ground level. the person in our party preferred to sleep on the couch on the main level instead of the basement. Overall we had a great stay

Such a beautiful and romantic getaway!

I absolutely LOVED my time at this place! I was very pleasantly surprised at how PRIME the location was here! It was in the heart of Little Italy and had an OCEAN VIEW! I was able to walk to many Italian restaurants, dessert spots, Waterfront park, and Portside Pier because it was such a great location. The price was a steal for such a great location! The house itself was so beautiful. The windows were so large with amazing lighting and the best view of the ocean and city life! The amenities really blew me away with how thoughtful the owner was! He prepared everything from all kitchen necessities, a keurig, clean towels, earplugs, and etc. The beds were the softest beds I've ever slept on! There was also the cutest patio outside with fairy lights. The TV was the biggest I've ever seen and I really enjoyed using it. The place itself was absolutely spotless. I'm usually very picky with cleanliness but every little thing was so clean, I was very impressed! The bathroom also had the coolest shower (it was like a misty rainfall) and had a bidet toilet! It was also very easy to talk to the property owner, Micheal. He responded promptly and was very accommodating to our requests! My partner and I had the best and most romantic getaway here and I 100% recommend this stay. I will definitely be returning to this place next time I'm in San Diego.
