Enjoyed our month in San Diego

San Diego is a beautiful city - so many places to visit and things to do and see. Marty was a very gracious host - very accommodating and quickly available via phone/text to answer questions. The beach house apartment was very nice. It had everything we needed during our month stay. Unfortunately February was a cool month so we didn't get to enjoy the deck patio as much as we had hoped, but the view and sunsets were beautiful. Ocean Beach, shops and restaurants were a close walk away (.4 mi). The beach is smaller than others in the area. If you like a nice boardwalk, bigger beach, and more activity, than Mission Beach might be better. But OB was nice and Wed's Farmer Market was fun. The Sunset Cliffs were beautiful and there was more privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend visiting San Diego.

I am ambivalent about the place.

The property was nice, clean, and well kept. The view was amazing. What I did not like was that there was no mention of having to go up a steep staircase to get into the place. I was under the impression that it was a house because it was advertised as "Marty's House." Instead it was a second floor apartment. In addition, there was a bar nearby that played loud music. That was annoying. In addition, there was no heat for our entire stay. I also did not like the fact that the stove, range, and heaters were all gas-powered. New research has proven that these types of appliances generate carbon monoxide which is bad for your health. I liked the stay because my guests liked the place very much.

Wonderous Cliffside Sunsets

Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay ! Beautiful expanse just out the back door, literally on the edge of the west coast. Lovely scenery, breezes & sunsets. Quiet & private foursome of condos with a beautiful shared patio nestled between a live-in owner & the end of the street...vacationing neighbors were great. The owner was even better ! Really thoughtful & communicative. Super comfy beds ! Simply a block in either direction to reach the water at the tide pools or a small beach. Just a quick jaunt to the town of Ocean Beach for shopping & lots of yummy food and less than 20 minutes to about anywhere in San Diego. Highly Recommended !!

The Perfect Place to Celebrate a Birthday

The condo overlooked the Pacific-about a rock’s throw away. You could hear all the birds within sight which was lovely if you live inland. The condo had all of the amenities set out in the description of the property and Marty was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The location of the condo is great.Everything about our stay was perfect!

Perfect San Diego Get Away

Marty’s Place is the perfect getaway overlooking the beautiful Ocean Beach tide pools. The ocean view from the cliff tops doesn’t get much better than this. OB sunset heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marty's oceanfront condo in OB. Marty was and excellent and responsive host, answering any of our questions upon arrival and providing some helpful tips about the condo and surrounding area. The location is easily walkable to Sunset Cliffs park, Newport Ave, and the many shops and restaurants in OB (our faves are Raglans and the Noodle House). The accomodations were as advertised. Comfy bedding and all the creature comforts and modern amenities you need in a home away from home! The real highlight of the condo is the amazing outdoor deck with seating for six. We spent mornings, afternoons and many evenings reading, chatting and dining all while ejoying the ocean waves and OB sunsets. We also ventured over to Santa Cruz Beach, just a block away for lazy beach days and exploring the tide on the rocks pools just below the condo. We have spent many summers in San Diego and are already looking forward to our next trip back!

Favorite condo in San Diego! Perfect location, views, and distance from everything!

We came to celebrate my 50th birthday with husband and teen daughter! Marty was so kind and accommodating. She surprised me with happy birthday decor! She consistently checked in if we needed anything. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed! We made breakfast at the condo every morning then had dinner a short 5-10 minute walk away. We used the beach chairs, body boards, packed a cooler and spent everyday at a different beach. This condo gives you the feel of home away from home. We will definitely be back and highly recommend! Location, Location, Location!

What are great location to see and hear the ocean crashing against the rocks. The host is very nice and hospitable to meet all of our needs. The house contains everything you will need to have a great vacation in ocean Beach. All restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Having a garage to park a car in Ocean Beach is a major plus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views of the Pacific ocean are truly amazing. You are right on the ocean no more than 50 feet from the water. There is nothing between you and the ocean. The host, Marty, is a delight. She provided incredible information on the condo and the area. If you want a relaxing getaway from the hussle and bussle of urban life this is the place for you.
