We stayed at this property over spring break with three families, and unfortunately the cleanliness was a major issue.At first glance the home seemed fine, but the longer we stayed, the more problems we uncovered. The kitchen clearly had not been deep cleaned in quite some time—the sink was dirty, the dishwasher smelled (the filter appeared never cleaned), the air fryer had to be scrubbed before use, and the freezer drawer was unsanitary to the point that we had to clean it before storing food.The bathrooms were worse. We found hair and mold in the downstairs shower and extensive mold in the upstairs shower. The master shower had a constant drip with standing water and visible dirt buildup, making it uncomfortable to use.In the bedrooms, the master comforter appeared unwashed and decorative, not suitable for guests. In another room, we removed bedding to wash it and found disgusting stains on the mattress.The washing machine also had mold in the rubber gasket and needed cleaning before use.Traveling with a large group during a busy week, relocating wasn’t realistic, so we spent time cleaning the home ourselves just to make it livable—and left it much cleaner than we found it.This property has potential but needs a thorough deep cleaning and mold remediation before we could recommend it.I wish I had taken more photos but our first response was to get to cleaning, so we didn’t capture half of the disgust we encountered. No response for help from VRBO, by the way.
