Great location, facilities. Just didn't like that there was no desk or table - so couldn't eat food in room without standing/ sit down and work. I also visited for 3 days and was a little disappointed that I was given a "side" room with nothing to see. If you're gonna spend some time in the room, then perhaps there are better options.

Not fancy by any stretch of the imagination. Rundown, with zero frills. That said the location is great, right in the mix of Little Italy, and the beds are pretty comfy. The shower curtain didn’t even reach the floor so lots of water splattered out onto the floor. Eh.

The property is in a excellent location. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom, in the bedroom. The TV did not function. No maintenance at night to service. OK place to put your head down, but that's about it. Price is fair.

Not worth the price!

We stayed here for the weekend and were, unfortunately, very let down. I don’t think this is the worst hotel in the world.. but it’s only a slight upgrade from what most would consider a “budget hotel” (like a Best Western). We ultimately chose this hotel for the location and recognized that it wouldn’t be a 5 star experience and were ok with that, but the location just isn’t enough. The Marriott downtown was only $100 more for the weekend. Service - some of the front desk worker were really nice and helpful, always greeting us when we walked by. There was one guy, though, that worked in the evenings and he was such an unpleasant person to interact with or walk by. Never smiled, you could barely hear him when he talked, not professional… just sat on his phone until you needed something and seemed completely annoyed that you did. Additionally, staff was a little noisy in the mornings and this was frustrating, being on the first floor The room - it wasn’t the most clean, with the floors being particularly dirty. Lots of paint coming off walls, fixtures looking old and worn. The hallways also smelled and it tended to creep into the room. Very stuffy as well - if you didn’t keep the AC running always, it was unbearable. Other - says “onsite parking” in the listing, it’s actually 3 blocks away. Not bad for downtown, just not quite accurate is all. “Onsite” makes you think a lot next door or valet. Also housekeeping turned AC unit off when we were out. Made it extra stuffy

The room was very clean and functional, if not large. I was disappointed to be on the ground floor so it was very dark and maintenance staff was working outside the window, but the location is fantastic. A great farmer’s market on Saturday mornings is just around the corner, totally worth a stroll, and the trolley is also close.

A great choice for travelers who value location and friendly service. While the hotel itself is older with small rooms it’s well-maintained and very clean. The staff is warm and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. Being in the heart of Little Italy, it's perfect for exploring the neighborhood’s restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

Great location, but bare bones. Check in and check out was sterile. Bed was very comfortable! TV wasn't working properly. Unsure on safety factor, but I definitely kept my door locked. I wouldn't necessarily recommend to someone else.

Great location and very reasonably priced for the quality. Right in Little Italy, and a 10 minute walk from Gaslamp district. Room was comfortable if a little small. Negatives were noise - guys power washing the street or something at 7am could be clearly heard as could other guests. Also the weird metal bed frames made noise when getting in or out. Staff very friendly and helpful when asked questions or directions.
