Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge, a Muy’Ono Resort offers 17 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features complimentary bottles of water and blackout curtains. Amazing place and staff!!! Food was delicious and great drinks!! Howler monkeys, and toucans and had dinner every night with an adorable kinkajou!! This place is magical!!!! We loved it!

Once you’re at the lodge, it is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the food at the restaurant is amazing. The service is phenomenal. We came for our honeymoon and I am so glad we chose SweetSongs. Transportation is probably the most complicated. We ended up renting a car and had no issues getting to the lodge. There was a steeper section of the road in but our car was smaller and still handled it well. They also offer a shuttle to and from the airport for a fee. The horseback riding tour was life changing and we would highly recommend it.

Fantastic place to stay! Jungle setting was beautiful with lots of wildlife. Floating the Macal River was fun for kids (and adults). The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and always with a local touch. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Lots of activities available and sites to see nearby. We enjoyed our stay at Sweet Songs more than the beach near Placencia.

At Sweet Songs you will enjoy a lovely setting, tranquility, and outstanding service. Having the botanical garden next door is a bonus. Xunantunich and other attractions are not far away. The only concern is the rough road to reach the jungle lodge, but that is certainly not a reason to pass on this wonderful resort.

Best experience!!

Absolutely remarkable experience. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is isolated, and the drive to the town is about 15 minutes, but the trade off is the privacy and amazing service. You’re deep in the jungle, so you get to hear howler monkeys and unique birds all evening. The food was also really great, we ate most of our meals at the site restaurant and it was wonderful. We stayed in the signature treehouse and it was everything we wanted.

Lovely oasis not far from San Ignacio

We enjoyed staying at sweet songs jungle lodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful while the grounds and rooms very nice and well maintained. We opted to use their shuttles and excursions which provided high quality guides and timely reliable transportation. We especially enjoyed canoeing from the lodge to San Ignacio on market day seeing monkeys and birds along the way and visiting nearby Mayan temples. We highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at sweet Songs was wonderful! The staff were all fantastic, so friendly and easy to chat with. The treehouse rooms were clean and modern, and at the same time really put you in the mindset of the jungle! Being surrounded by nature was so zen and amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and serene place to stay. The staff, throughout, was exceptional. Extremely kind and considerate, they made us feel entirely welcomed. My only negative feedback is for the owners of the property and a decision to invest in a diesel generator over a more environmentally sustainable solution including solar and batteries which would eliminate local emissions and noise from the generator.

We enjoyed every minute at Sweet Songs. The all inclusive option was the way to go. Delicious local food--each of our meals were excellent and we ate all but one of them there over our eight night stay. Definitely intend to be a return guest. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they totally spoiled us!
