Unsanitary. Under Construction. Not Ready To Rent
Major issues with this property. Unsanitary conditions (earwigs in the coffee maker, mouse traps in the non-functional dishwasher, poop stains on furniture, etc.)
There is a notable lack of information inside the house: no guidebook, WiFi instructions, operational details, house rules, or departure guidelines.
The property is under construction! There is a pile of construction debris in the backyard and incomplete areas not shown in online photos, such as the bathroom with unfinished tile work and a malfunctioning shower door. Amenities are sparse; bathroom supplies are minimal. Bugs in the bathroom.
There is no thermostat as the HVAC system is non-functional, requiring reliance on space heaters plugged into a very old electrical system.
In the kitchen, the freezer contains unidentified meals, possibly belonging to remodel workers. The coffee maker water reservoir was full of earwig insects. Trash disposal is inconvenient with limited small bins and no outdoor trash cans.
The dishwasher is inoperable and filled with random items like rodent traps and plastic bags. Handwashing dishes is further complicated by the absence of a drying rack.
Then there are the noise issues from the illegal dog breeding operation at the house next door. Dogs will keep you up all night.
While the property owner is semi-responsive and acknowledges that the house is going through a ("reboot"), significant work remains before this VRBO listing is suitable for rental.
