EVERYTHING about my stay was excellent. AS good as any top star accommodation AND the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and accommodating throughout. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and spacious, hot water shower, -all the details down to the lighting options had been thought of. The outdoor areas were charming, felt as if guests had been invited into a welcoming home space.

Once you get into the gate, the grounds were welcoming. The front desk staff was friendly at check-in and it was great to be able to have a shuttle in the morning. I did have to wake up the front desk person at 4am upon check out. The air conditioning didn't work and the TV had no sound. The listed price is for one person. They charge an additional $15 per person. You will hear every plane landing and taking off, so don't expect to sleep.

The entire property is neglected. The pics online are obviously from many years ago. The paint is peeling off everything including the pool. There were weeds and dying foliage around the whole property and the bathrooms, specifically the shower was dirty, moldy and old.

I rarely leave reviews even when an experience is subpar, but felt the need to review Hotel Brillasol specifically because of the receptionist who was present when I arrived. I was taken aback by how rude he was. Right off the bat he seemed frustrated when I addressed him in Spanish (I’m not fluent, but certainly proficient and able to communicate). He spoke back to me in English, which was completely fine, except for the fact that he clearly didn’t understand my English very well. I arrived late (just after 11p), and requested an early shuttle at 4 or 415am because my tickets for my AM flight requested I arrive at 415. He told me “one hour is better”. I told him I would like to be there at the time my ticket recommended—415–and he seemed to agree/understand. There were essentially no lights outside of reception, and he gave me incorrect instructions about where my room was before handing me the key and telling me to go. It took me several minutes to actually locate the room, and I had difficulty with the key once I did. I tried turning it both directions, and it would simply turn three times both ways without unlocking. I wasn’t given instructions about the lock. When I went back for help, he looked at me like I was stupid, threw his hands up and said “¡Ay, Dios!”. He angrily followed me to my room and unlocked the door.

Room clean, comfortable and close to the airport. Good value for a layover to catch a morning flight. Proprietor gave us and 2 other guests a free shuttle to the airport. Great service from a friendly and welcoming host.

Just a quick stop before we flew home - only 3 miles from the airport via side roads was a dream! Cute little hotel- not fancy, but enough beds for all, a good little variety at breakfast and we'd definitely plan to start and/or end future trips from this friendly little place!

Read on line, if leaving around 4 am, they will give you a sandwich and juice, since its before breakfast time. The man at the desk did nothing for us. He may have been bothered since I had to wake him up.. The lady who checked us in was very nice.

We really enjoyed the outdoor lounge/game area next to the pool. And we really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The room was bare bones, no decor. One pillow per bed. But, that being said, it was cool, clean, and comfortable. There was a bit of an ant problem in our room. We let the host know, and she was going to get it taken care of. Also a little misleading that it is an “airport hotel”. It is actually about a 20 min. drive to the airport.

Stayed for one short night right before my flight breakfast was great. It was nice to hang out by the pool and the pool table where they had little board games and stuff like that - staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle got me to the airport on time I would stay again
