The room was spotless and enough amenities stocked. We didn't use the isles microwave, fridge and coffee or, but they were available. Great location. Would stay here again.

The room was astounding! This was hands-down the best place that I stayed during my trip, even among other properties with Stay with Bear. The property is gorgeous, capturing Old San Juan architecture with modern upgrades. The property operates with self-check-in (a keypad entrance and individual lock-boxes on each door), so there is no staff on-site. There is luggage storage for travelers that require it for early check-in or later departures. There are multiple floors and no elevator, so just note this to be ready with your luggage. Can't wait to return!

The room was nice, however the mattress was terribly soft! I ended up sleeping on the sofa. There were several basic repair issues as well. We did greatly appreciate receiving extra towels right away.

Big room, newly renovated building with nice roof terrasse to enjoy breakfast on, great neighborhood. The only problem is the humidity oozing inside from the window and finding the floor wet in the morning. Nice friendly staff who do not bother you

Floors weren’t entirely clean. Thermostats difficult to adjust. Amenities: no towel racks to hang wet towels, or hangers/rods for clothes. Kitchen: no towels, dish rack, minimal dishes, no large bowl for salads etc.

The door to the bathroom needs to be fixed. When it opened about a third of the way, it made a very loud popping noise. It’s a glass door so it is heavy and the noise was startling and concerning. The noise woke me up in the middle of the night when my companion went into the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and had a big sag in the center so it was hard to sleep on one side. The pillows were huge and hard and my arms kept falling asleep from the way my neck was positioned. Otherwise the room was very nice. The coffee was excellent. The luggage storage area was sketchy and unattended so we decided to store our luggage for the day at another location. Staff is all off site but were responsive by text.

Old San Juan. The atmosphere was neat, building was old and historical. The rooms are in need of upkeep and maintenance, and in disrepair. Our bathroom only had one working lightbulb out of 3 and was dingy. The walls were dirty and the water in the shower did not get hot. There weren’t enough bath linens for 2 people. No hand soap in the bathroom. The kitchen had a broken dishwasher with a sign posted. The bed was ok, typical hard hotel bed. Mini split AC in the room but they dont allow you to control of the temperature so it was hot in the room. We went to the desk and asked for the remote and they said “they don’t let guests control it”. The rooftop offers some great views of the cruise ship port, which is just a short drive (10 mins). There is breakfast (small menu) made on the rooftop rest but it costs extra. The hostess at the front will make you complimentary coffee and it was delicious. The hotel was about a 25-30min drive from the airport.

Fully equipped kitchen. Nice views over quiet street. Centrally located in the heart of Old San Juan, within easy walk to many dining options and other attractions. Would definitely return.
