This is the worst experience in my whole trip. I reserved the house three days in advance, but nobody sent me the instruction. We started to contact the property manager at noon. I called him/her a couple times, but nobody picked up my phone. I called the customer service and told her my situation. She gave me the lockbox’s code. We arrived at the house around 5:40 pm. We got the keys using the code. Unfortunately, the key was wrong and could not open the door. We kept calling the property manager. Nobody still picked up. We called the customer service again and she gave me a host’s phone number. The host said she would come over in 5 minutes but came in 20 minutes. She did not apologize for her fault, but we didn’t have the strength to complain about it. We entered the house around 6:40 pm. The living room is very hot because it does not have A/C. Two bedrooms have the A/C, one bedroom has a window A/C. In addition, the water of shower is very cold. The host said we have to wait a couple minutes. 10 minutes later, the water becomes a little bit warmer, but still cold. We have to take a shower with ‘warmer’ water. The worst part I have to mention, the house located in a main road. The surrounding area is very noisy. We cannot fall asleep since the roar of traffic. This is a horrible house. It’s so disappointing I cannot even describe it.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES

Closeness to the airport is perhaps the only accurate description. This place is a dump! We had to clean the bathroom before we could use it, there was a horribly smelly garbage can in the middle of the room, one room had ZERO lights and only 1 out of the 3 lamps in the place worked; 2 we physically broken, there was a feminine razor blade on the dining table when we got there…should I go on? I’m sincerely trying to be fair…but the place looked one step above a crack house.

San Juan

We actually stayed 2 different nights at this house. It was exactly as described, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels for all of us. The only thing that wasn't described was there was no AC in the living room. Maybe in San Juan that's just the way it is, though. The bedrooms each had window units and were plenty cool. We were able to get an early check-in, host was very helpful.

Stay at the Cozy House

It was just what we needed for a late night arrival to SJU, and an early morning departure for other parts of Puerto Rico. Seven of us were able to rest well in the short time we were there. The kitchen was minimally furnished with supplies, but we had little need for them. Grocery and convenience store within walking distance, as was the car rental agent we worked with. Not sure it would suit us for a long term stay, but it met our needs exactly.
