My husband and My husband, myself and our 2 children just visited the resort in Dorado. We really appreciated the friendly staff, clean rooms and included daily breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, the pool was under repair and the beach was not well groomed. There were very few chairs on the beach that are included in the resort fee which were alqays occupied. That said, this is a great central location to do daily day trips to all the beautiful beaches, El Yunque rainforest, old san juan and the magical bioluminescent bays! Puerto Rico is a beautiful island with endless adventure to be had!

The best part is the beach area is gorgeous!!!!!!! Most of the staff, in my opinion, seemed like they would rather be anywhere else but there which doesnt make your experience enjoyable. Not overly helpful or friendly. They didn't list on booking site that main large pool was under construction, even though the other hotels did on the site. Most of the chairs were broken and looked dirty. The last issue is the distance from San Juan city area. Snorkeling, jet skies, tours, meets ups were 35-45 minutes minimum with morning activites taking up to 50 minutes due to morning traffic. Airport was 50-65 mintues from resort. Give yourself extra time at airport, as security lines were insanely long!

Would never recommend this hotel (no lo recomiendo). Main pool is down and they will not tell you even at check in. Just came here for the pool since kids love it, told the guy how exited kids were about the pool during check in and he said nothing about it. Not even after I was asking for pool towels. Came back front desk spoke to the front staff and they said there was nothing they could do. I told them that they should not promote ammenities that they really don't have and that if I would have know I would have not reserved this place. I told them that it is not nice they are lying to people. They have 2 small pools for kids. If you read in expedia about the bowling alley keep in mind that nothing is included and they explained that is not part of the hotel eventhough in expedia it is in the "family friendly" section next to pools and in-room microwave. Jacuzzi was working but super dirty and small. Broken pool and beach chairs. Beach area is not well maintained rocky and dirty. Room has broken coach sleeper. Stay away.

I was never notified that the pool was under maintenance and 3/4 of the pool was closed. The breakfast was not good either. The serve the same thing every day, the pancakes and eggs taste like cardboard. Not what I was expecting for the price I paid.

We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Dorado. Sadly, the main swimming pool was under construction and nobody notified us about that. The hotel is also a bit outdated but the staff was great, and the food was also good. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and dined at their restaurant couple of times. Having a room service was also a plus.

Everything was great at the hotel except the large pool was under renovation. We were really bummed as we chose this hotel based on this beautiful pool. Should of been notified prior to arrival so we could of chose a different hotel. Had to listen to hammering and tools all day. No offers were given for inconvenience. Disappointed!

Check-in/out process was a breeze. Everything was spot clean. Staff was very, very friendly and attentive. We ate at the buffet breakfast every morning, ordered room service, and at the pool bar/restaurant and the food was good! I highly recommend it and will be staying here again soon.

Staff was great, rooms were clean breakfast was provided. Restaurants and entertainment was nearby. The largest pool was being renovated which was a huge eyesore. Would like to have known about that in advance. The body wash and lotion were empty when we checked in as well. The roof did start leaking when it rained which was wild. The Staff was exceptional though and for that alone made it satisfactory.

The room was in dire need of update. The couch was broken, literally broken. The AC did not stopped making noise, the pillows where hard and very small for a king size bed. Paint chipped everywhere. Truly a disappointment especially for a Hilton property.

Rooms were old but clean. Hotel staff was nice and helpful despite a little mix up with ocean view vs parking lot view which they corrected. The restaurant inside of the hotel was horrible. They forgot to bring one of my child’s meals, never brought an extra sauce we had asked for. The quality of the food (steaks) was so bad we had to send them back. When the server asked why we didn’t tell her sooner, it was awkward to tell her it’s because she never came back to ask. Never refilled water (our only drinks) so we sat there waiting for drinks and meals. Biggest let down was halfway through our stay they drained the pools to redo them. So there was no longer a kids pool for my children to play in which is why we picked that hotel. I saw no notice on booking or arrival that this would be happening.
