Our stay at La Esmeralda was absolutely wonderful. We spent 2 nights here and I loved the location to the airport and Old San Juan. It’s close to everything! The room was well kept with AC on when we arrived. Check in and Check out process was so efficient and easy. Even provided free secure private parking. There was a dog next door that barked at night. But he barks when needed as a guard dog should. (Extra peace of mind) nothing I would complain about. The property it’s super cute that even includes beach towels and coolers if you would like to keep drinks cold while you enjoy PR. We felt safe here and will definitely be coming back to check out the other rooms available. Thanks a bunch!!!

I liked the place but the room needs an upgrade the mattress you can feel the springs under, the TV is very small compared to the big wall. The staff is very friendly and professional. There’s a coffee maker but no coffee available only instant coffee. No sugar only few sugar free.

Plenty of space for my trip and even included a gated-off parking area for me! Fairly close to the populated city area, but not close enough to walk there. Decent restaurants in the area. While not the most luxurious, the shower has hot water, the AC unit keeps the room cool, and my room had 4 levels of security: three gates and a deadbolt. Definitely recommend!

La Esmeralda was fantastic for the price! My only gripes were the WiFi was kind of mid and the bathroom was a little dirty. The area around it had a ton of restaurants, we were able to try a new restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner every day and still feel like we didn’t try everything. The AC works which was something I was worried would not be true when we got there. Bed was clean, towels and sunscreen provided so we didn’t have to buy them. Overall great experience and the staff was very responsive.

San Juan Gem

Stayed in the two bedroom apartment and everything was nice. Love that it is a couple blocks to the beach. It’s also walking distance to some restaurants and bars. Also, communication with owners was great; they answered all my questions in a timely manner. Parking space is directly underneath and gated for security. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Great stay

Room was comfortable and clean. Great area walking distance to the beach which was nice. The host does offer beach chairs for an additional cost also very nice. Felt safe in the area parking was never an issue neighborhood was quiet .

The apartment is super close to the beach and the property is very nice and clean, however unfortunately there is no screen door which makes it impossible to leave the door open at night and the deck itself has no sun roof so using it during the day is kinda out of the question. Other than this the stay was very enjoyable and we would come back again

We loved our 6 day stay. The property was quiet and very secure. Check in instructions were very easy to follow. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed (stove, dishes, refrigerator, two bathrooms, dining area). There was a dedicated parking spot for just $5 per day and there was also plenty of street parking. The beach was about 2 blocks away and was a small quiet beach. There were shops, restaurants, and markets within a few blocks. The host was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely would stay again and would recommend to others.
