This a very nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. The only problem was check-in. We wanted an early check-in because we were on a cruise and arrived early, but it was not possible and I feel like we wasted the whole day sitting around waiting to check in. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean and very nice with an excellent view of the port and the ships. Everything was within walking distance so we enjoyed dining, sight seeing and shopping without having to deal with Ubers or taxis. We had a great stay here, highly recommend!

I would stay here again without a doubt! We rented a car but didn’t need it during our stay in Old San Juan. Everything was within walking distance. There are plenty of dining options for all times of day just crossing the street. The hotel was very pleasant, beyond my expectations. We stayed in a suite, which was quite spacious for our 4-people family. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I just can’t say enough good thing things about Hotel Rumbao.

Clean and very nice hotel, beds were super comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and accommodating of our needs and requests. The location was great for us, as we were cruising from the port adjacent to the hotel. The only negative for us was the lack of a lower priced option for breakfast we ended up at a nearby coffee house, within walking distance, and it was a good experience.
