For a basic motel this property checked all the important boxes. Location is only a few blocks from historic downtown S.L.O. Bed was comfortable enough. There was an extra blanket available (which I used). Shower, toilet, and bathroom fan functioned well. Separate area for sink was convenient. There was enough space for guest toiletries. Soap/shampoos dispenser both in shower and sink area saved on plastic waste. Flat screen television functioned well; the remote-control user interface was not complicated. There was a small functional refrigerator for guest use. There were sufficiently many power outlets. The closet and drawer space was adequate. Parking is easy (though I did not need to park a car). In the morning in the motel office, coffee, tea, and granola bars are offered. Motel staff were pleasant.
