froze in the night. had the heater set to 89 degrees but the a/c was still on. and the water pressure/flow in the shower was the worst i have ever seen. also had to park down the street as there was not enough parking for all guests. we stay here once a year but probably not again. room was clean.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bay View Inn. The location is excellent. Only two blocks from the Embarcadero, this Inn was quiet except for being awakened by sea lions. There is no elevator, but it was worth it to stay upstairs for the view, although public patios on both floors had great views and a chance to meet other guests. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean. I recommend this Inn highly.

Room was great, spacious and clean. Host was great. People living there were scuzzy, and the outside carpets in the lower levels smelled like urine. The view was a 10. Had potential but definitely rough on the outside for someone wanting to enjoy they're time by the coast.

Perfect location for walking around the touristy area as well as downtown. Clean, simple room. Comfortable bed, big TV, views of the bay. Excellent value.
