Welcome to San Luis Obispo. Located in a peaceful residential neighborhood on the edge of downtown, this one-bedroom apartment is a 10 minute walk to shopping, restaurants, bars, art galleries, museums, historic mission and district. Groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, brew pub and a neighborhood park are a 2-10 minute walk. This is an ideal downtown experience for those who enjoy walking. California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and its performing arts center (PAC), Amtrack station, SLO airport, beaches, wineries, brew pubs, and hiking are easy drives from 2 to 15 miles.

The apartment is fully equipped and to accommodate two people comfortably. Large windows in the living area and bedroom afford views of mature tree tops and lots of natural light. The open floor plan of the primary living area features a living room furnished with a sofa, arm chair, ottoman, small dining table and 55” TV separated from the kitchen by a bar/counter with two barstools. The bedroom has a new queen bed, small desk, dresser and large closet. The bathroom offers a full-size tub with shower. An inflatable double mattress and bedding are available. The total interior space is approximately 550 square feet.

The apartment sits atop a garage in a standalone structure across a nicely landscaped and furnished shared courtyard from the homeowner/host’s separate craftsman-style home. The apartment has its own private entrance, accessed via a staircase (16 steps) on the side of the building, and a small private balcony. A washer and dryer for your exclusive use are located in the garage. The apartment has its own private driveway to accommodate two vehicles.

There is a 30 day minimum stay requirement due to city regulations.

There is a train track about 1/2 block away and a small private playground adjacent to this property. The building was constructed and window materials selected to mitigate the sound coming from these sources.
