We chose Rockview for this last-minute trip because it was pet-friendly— we were pleasantly surprised with our stay! The room appeared to be freshly remodeled-freshly painted, nice flooring, lovely white window shutters, plenty of space for 2 adults and a big dog, the shower is large & the modern tile/grout sparkled. Everything in the room was very clean and spotless. Beds were super Comfortable. No fancy frills here (which was fine with us) but we had everything we needed for safety, comfort and cleanliness! The refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and TV worked efficiently, including the WiFi/Internet. It was quiet and no noise from adjacent rooms. Close to the Embarcadero and Carla’s restaurant, which is always a favorite! We will definitely come back here. Thank you Rockview!

The entire property was very clean! Staff was always available if I needed anything. Parking spaces were ample. Pet friendly as well.
The array of these Wild flowers are beautiful!

Great stay with Comfy Beds

It was a nice spacious suite. Not a whole lot of amenities but beds were super comfortable! Shower had decent pressure considering Morro Bay. The fridge was spacious for our needs. The bathroom is small but the sink is putside of the bathroom. TV had a lot of channels. The parking lot was always available at various times of day woth no trouble.

A diamond in the rough. Despite looking like a typical motel, it is clean, tasteful and well-cared-for. A two-block walk from the bay and its amenities, it feels more like a well-loved local institution than any roadside inn. Will stay again.

We stayed in a king room and it was right next to the office which was really great and also the ice machine was right basically outside our door the bed was Nice and we slept well. The room was a good size. The only downfall is they don’t have breakfast but right down the street as a restaurant with really good food.

Unacceptable Discrimination Against Disabled Guest I have stayed at Rockview Inn before and had excellent experiences, so I did not expect such a distressing stay. I was traveling with my husband and our 2 service dogs, and from the moment I checked in, I was subjected to discriminatory treatment. When I disclosed I had service animals, the receptionist immediately demanded to see “certification papers” and “tags on their collars.” I explained that: It is illegal under the ADA (28 C.F.R. § 35.136 & § 36.302) to require documentation, certification, or special tags/registries as no such registry exists. Service animals are not pets, and charging pet fees is prohibited. Despite this, the receptionist charged me pet fees and only voided after I showed her the ADA guidance on my phone. The next morning, she had again charged me, claiming she believed only 1 of my dogs was a service animal. She reluctantly voided that charge as well, but not before subjecting me to further questioning and harassment. Finally, she handed me an “ADA Service Animal Verification Form” and said they would “verify with ADA.” The ADA does not have or maintain any registry, nor do hotels have authority to “check” animals against some list. As a disabled guest, this was humiliating, discriminatory, and in direct violation of my rights. This experience was not only upsetting but unlawful.I hope management trains staff properly, and ensures other disabled guests are not subjected to this harassment.
