To be honest, me and my husband expected more. The door didnt even fit properly to the room and It made the noise a little much and i felt a little unsafe. You literally heard EVERYTHING. I had my husband pick up ear plugs for me. Staff was very dismisive and did not say two words checking in or out. Mini fridge didnt work. It was okay for an overnight stay, If you have ear plugs.

The woman (I think owner) EXTREMELY friendly and offered great advice for vegetarian dining options in the area. She was also very accommodating (with a smile) when I lost my room key and requested new towels (I chose not to get the room cleaned daily). The motel is in a PRIME area. VERY close to the walkable water front street and also to the shopping/dining area. It is a SUPERBLY clean property. I will surely be staying there again when in Morro Bay!

First time staying here at Rockview Inn and we were welcomed and greeted graciously by the general manager at check in. Our room was easily located and super clean. Comfortable bed and very spacious with lots of tv channels. Highly recommend this Inn and we will be returning very soon.

A comfortable stay

My partner and I had a great stay here over the new years holiday. We typically stay at another hotel in Morro Bay, however it was booked during this time, so we took a chance and stayed somewhere different. We were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff and how clean the room was. The property has clearly been updated, with comfortable beds and nice televisions. We had no issues whatsoever and we gladly stay here again.

Barking dog next door

A dog in the room next door barked a few times during the night and then constantly in the morning. The employees didn't seem to care. When I checked out I wasn't asked how my stay was, so I didn't bother to share my disappointment.

Great hotel, close to water and attractions.

A great, independent family run hotel that was having renovations when we stayed. The room was very clean, and didn’t smell of strong detergent. The bed was very firm and comfortable. The property is quiet and attractive with landscaping. Excellent location in walking distance of shops/ restaurants/ the bay. We would definitely stay there again. They were very accommodating with our one pet and one service animal as well.
