I like that It was in the center of town. The front of house staff we very nice. We've stayed there before and liked it. I think it just needs some updating. The heater and air conditioner didn't work. The pull out bed was disgusting, had stains everywhere, and their cleanliness needs to be review. We got there and there was black hair everywhere and the floors were dirty.

The Landing @ Morro Bay is a wonderful find and so pleased we booked accommodation. The property show-cased uninterrupted water views, presents immaculately and reception service was exceptional. Our room was spacious and very well appointed with a lot of extra home away from home comforts. Loved and appreciated the cozy fireplace and pour over coffee :).

Great little hotel in an awesome location

This was our second stay at the Landing. It really is a great little motor hotel. Rooms redone, bed comfortable, furnishings in good condition, electric fireplaces provide heat. Unbeatable view of Morro Rock from the upper floors. No elevator, so if you can't do stairs, book the bottom floor. Also note, sealions have taken over a platform in the bay, and they are loud, often barking into the night, and then again, bright and early. The location is great, right across the street from Dorn's, and a block up from the shops along the Embarcadero and the waterfront.

Apart from 1 blind that you had to yank down hard to close the place was lovely. We parked in front of our room, got some yummy coffee and tea at the front desk and some candy and were able to easily walk downtown and see the otters and sea life plus lots of bars and restaurants. They have a lovely seating area in the "garden" to enjoy Morro rock and the outdoors. Enjoyed this stay and the excellent coffee.
