The property was beautiful, the staff were hospitable and friendly. The room was also beautiful. The pool was a delight. My only complaint, which is major, is that I thought the room booked was an ocean view (now that I went back and checked online it is actually a bay view so that was my error), however one night my friend and I were walking near the “bay” and saw 2 large reptiles. We ran screaming and were told they were raccoons by a staff (they were certainly not raccoons). The following day we asked someone else and was told that the water is a lagoon and that what we saw were crocodiles. We were warned to be careful because when they come out it is usually at night so stay out of the pool area at night or just be careful while back there at night. This was upsetting because there are no signs nor information letting us know to beware of crocodiles. I was pretty much ready to go home after that

Tasty mangoes from the tree on the premises. Snacks and drinks stocked in the room for our convenience. You pay only for what is used.

Excellent stay!

Great experience. Mosquitoes were vicious but found out one of the windows was cracked midway during our stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Fun activities and friendly staff.

The hotel was great nice and clean the staff was welcoming and helpful we stayed in the loft style rooms and when I say it was everything came with a kitchen half bathroom downstairs full bathroom upstairs off bedroom and we had the swim up bar right outside our door ………….. we can’t wait to stay again

I love this hotel and the staff was good. My one issue is that one of the cleaning staff stole my swimsuit. I left the Saturday for secret beach took out the swimsuit, decided against it, chose another and left it on new one on the closet. When I came back room was clean and it was gone. At first I said let me check properly and both my Husband and I cannot find it anyway. Otherwise it was a wonderful time.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sunset Caribe! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The property is gorgeous modern, clean, and perfectly maintained. My room was spacious, well-equipped, and had stunning views of the water, especially during sunset. The location is ideal….close enough to the action but still peaceful and relaxing. I loved the pool area with the pool bar, and the convenience of having great dining options nearby. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and every interaction with the staff felt warm and genuine. Whether you’re here to relax, explore, or a bit of both, Sunset Caribe is the perfect choice. The state was amazing. I stayed in the last suite, and it was beautiful. I loved the sunrise in the morning, and all I can say is that it was worth every penny. It's the best place to stay by far because of the value you're getting. The food is a little pricey, but you'll be fine if you stick to the local dishes.

Everyone was so nice. The whole proprty is new and modern. I loved our room and the pools/pool bar was the hot spot. They had karaoke one night at the pool, which was a hit.
