My wife and I specifically booked the King size bed option, but when we arrived, we were given a room with two smaller beds. We explained there must be a mistake, but it appears they had double booked and someone was already sleeping in the room we had chosen. We had no choice but to sleep in the wrong room until they could give us the right one the next day. They offered no compensation for our troubles even when pressed. With that said, once we had the correct room, it was a clean and convenient place to go to the shopping areas of the city. They have some nice options in their cafe and kind service. Please call ahead of time to confirm that you can go to the room you booked and so on for peace of mind.

Our stay at Hotel Boutique Valverde Santa Elena was wonderful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Everything felt cozy and well cared for — a perfect place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended!

I didn’t like that when I arrived they had just fumigated the place for insects and I breathed in whatever smoke/poison was in the air. I wish they would have notified me beforehand so I can check in when the smoke/poison was gone.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was very polite and attentive, and our room was perfect for our needs. The location was convenient, about a 10-minute walk from the Embassy and close to restaurants and a shopping center. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place.
