The poolside area is nice. I enjoyed that. However the road entrance to the hotel is not pavemented. Rough road to drive. The staff at the front desk when we checked in was not welcoming. We were told “No Outside food or drinks”. Breakfast is one option. We ordered coffee and wanted milk with our coffee and we’re told there is an extra fee 😳😧😧 What?? Not walking distance within El Tunco. You need a car from this hotel.

Not clean, outdated, staff not friendly or attentive. Location is barely accessible, uber drivers turn down due to road being horrible. You need big truck to access road. No outside food deliveries permitted, so if you get hungry past 7:30 pm you are out of luck and must leave to go get food. Only one bar and it closes at 8 pm. Private beach but not accessible to humans only pretty to look at. Same breakfast every morning, beans, eggs, banana and bread. No other options. No outside food or drinks allowed. Two towel limit per room. It rained hard, leaked into our room and our floors were very wet and slippery. You are basically on your own at this hotel with hardly any service.

The picture has nothing to do with the place, Also the access to the place is in terrible conditions. Besides, It seems to me, that the bed blankets were not washed since for ever, they smelled bad. The bathroom did not have soap at all. The balcony was not private, one large balcony for all the rooms. However, the employees were friendly and willing to help you with your needs and wants.

The place was clean. The people working on the bar/restaurant over charge. Unbelievable charges just for a coke, water and 2 prange juices they charged me $25

Hidden gem

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The pricing was very reasonable, especially with breakfast and free parking included. The highlight for us was the stunning view of the Pacific Ocean — absolutely breathtaking! The room was clean and well-kept, and we really appreciated the friendly service. The waitstaff worked hard to accommodate us, and although the food took a little while to arrive, we were on vacation and in no rush. It gave us time to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the waves crashing on the shore. The food was DELICIOUS: seafood pasta and meat / sea food platters were amazing! The entrance to the hotel is a bit simple and could use some improvement, but once you turn the corner from the registration desk, the view makes it all worth it. Children supervision required. We came as a couple and we could see how some areas may not be child proofed / safe. Beautiful place for a calm, quiet, romantic peaceful getaway. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

For a few extra dollars your Can a better place . They should mention that the entrance from the main Road is in very bad condition . I liked the place 3 stars , the pool has a lot of space , the view is incredible ! And the staff is very nice !
