You don’t have to go anywhere to enjoy this place.. At Ragged Point Inn you have the convenience of having a restaurant which offers great food, indoor and outdoor seating. The outside is serene and relaxing. The views are breathtaking. They have a cute gift shop, gas station & convenient store. There are stairs that go down but I’m not sure if they go all the way to the bottom where the ocean is at. Drive up North a few miles and you’ll find Salmon Creek Falls. The hike to the waterfall is worth it. Definitely going back.

We had major car trouble when we arrived and were in need of vehicle emergency services in order to return home the next day. There was zero cell service for our carrier and the phone in the room never had service the whole time we were there. In order to call tow service and AAA, we had to go to the office and use a land line. What would one have done in the middle of the night with a medical emergency when the office/lobby was closed? We were hoping for an excellent dinner and what we ordered was mediocre at best.

Hotel with beautiful rugged setting

This property is beautiful, views are breathtaking! There’s restaurant on the premises we ate breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Staff were always helpful and super nice. Two things to consider if you driving from San Francisco the road along the coast is closed and getting there takes longer also there’s no phone service. Hotel has landline and spotty wifi. It’s digital detox and super relaxing listing to crashing waves. We had really nice time.

Had a great stay and experience on my 2 night stay. Views and the grounds are fantastic. The restaurant also has some vegan options which was very nice. Highly recommend this play for future stays.
