The views were spectacular. The room was clean but a little out- dated. The bed was comfortable. The on site restaurants food was delicious but the service was slow. Seemed like there was not enough staff for the number of customers.

Had an ocean view from the balcony and gorgeous manicured garden grounds. The restaurant on site was quiet, wait staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate. The staff at the inn were knowledgeable and helpful. The drive in was absolutely gorgeous with pull offs to observe the elephant seals and other wildlife. The snack bar and gas station is cash only, there was an ATM on site but wasn't working when we got there but it didn't hinder our experience as the restaurant and hotel take cards.

Room with a View

Staying at Ragged Point is all about the ocean view. The rooms are comfortable and generally pleasing. Not all rooms have an ocean view, but most do. The grounds are also very pleasing and well maintained. The downsides are lack of cell service, sometimes spotty wifi, and nearby food options limited to Ragged Point restaurant or coffee shop. Other restaurants are 15 miles to San Simeon, or 24 miles to Cambria.
