Having an option of indoor or outdoor swimming was great. Lots of sitting area by the outdoor pool. The breakfast area is way to small for that many guests. It definitely needs more seating! The bed was not very comfortable. Also I found a Starbucks drink in my room from 2 weeks prior (it was behind the chair) so I think it’s safe to assume the cleaning staff has been slacking or just lazy. When I told the front desk they just said “oh.”

The rooms smelled so musty its awful. The carpet and beds are permanently damp super sick. The pools are nice however the hottub water was colder then the pool water the heater must not ve working. Water level was allmost below the jets. We use to stay here about 10 years ago amd it was so much better. They must have stopped putting money back into the hotel. Would not stay again

The staff was very quick at check-in and accommodating any issues we had. Our microwave didnt work at first but they sent someone to replace it right away. The indooe and outdoor pool with hor tub was amazing and the breakfast was decent. Only issue was it was very busy and some options were limited at breakfast and the staff pulled stuff as soon as it was almost done so people who were in there couldnt get anything else after the time was done. But overall great place for kids and not too far from Cedar Point.

This is our 2nd time staying here while we go to Cedar Point for the weekend. For the price it was great, my kids loved the pool & breakfast was decent. Only complaint was that we had our “do not disturb” sign on our door & the maids were trying go get into our room a good 1/2 hour before check out time. Thankfully we were in the room to let them know they need to come back because the same thing happened in our friend’s room…they were putting stuff into their car & the maids came in(even though the sign was as on the door) & started cleaning out their fridge of stuff they wanted to keep. They were able to get their stuff back but seems like the do not disturb means nothing to them. Otherwise I’d totally recommend this hotel if you’re heading to Ceder Point…love that the pool stays open later.

The exterior doors that said needed a hotel key to open were unlocked. The room smelled like damp moldy carpet. The carpet felt wet walking on it the first time we walked into the room. We asked about the smell and they said it’s from the room being closed up. But I know the difference between stale air and a musty smell. The tv would not work. They fixed it the first time but as soon as we turned the tv off it stopped working. The workers didn’t seem to care at all. The doors to the room were beat up and discolored from wear and tear.

I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Inn Sandusky. The hot tub was amazing. Thenonly thing Ibwould suggest is investing in smart TV's that allow the guest to sign into their streaming service of choice, because the TV channels didnt offer anything of interest to watch and I could never get the guide to work so I had to flip through every channel.
