We loved this hotel! Loved the beautiful views and the little pop up tienditas that were couple steps away from the hotel. The employees were very professional and kind. Only down side was the food, it was expensive and not as tasty. Pretty mediocre. The prices should be better. Breakfast should be free of charge. The frozen tamarindo tho, was sooo delish.

The location is very nice but the price/quality was not good. Room was ok. Bathroom was small. Restaurant was expensive with little food selection.

We absolutely loved this place. From the moment you get here, you feel at peace. They work very hard to ensure you have a great time while here and the onsite restaurant is amazing. I wish we had stayed longer! The beds were quite comfortable and the views of the volcano from the rooms are spectacular! If you are looking at this place and not sure, do yourself a favor and just stay here, you will not regret it. I have nothing bad to say about my experience here.

My partner and I loved the beautiful, scenic view . We were literally and figuratively above the clouds! And we loved how the Cerro Verde Park offered free guided hiking tours either around the park to see all the views and beauty or a choice between two longer, more adventurous hiking tours to the top of either the Santa Ana Volcano or the Ixtalquo (sp?) volcano. Just breathtaking views!

Very Disappointing. 1. Sewage smell from the shower. 2. Dripping noices from bathroom pipes. 3. Bathroom missing sink mirror and towels hangers. 4. Bedroom lacks of night table, night lamp, and electrical outlet. 5. Patio door lock broken. 6. No safety box. 7. Amazingly someone decided to place an Emergency Exit Light inside the room, so we had a green glow inside the room all night long. 8. Restaurant Staff Service, bellow average. The only good things were: big room, comfy bed, and breakfast, but this falls very short for a $200 a night rate, even $50 Motels have a mirror in front of the sink, for your basic needs. We read bad reviews, but decided to give it a try, now we know they where right.

The place was not good for my expectations it was humid and they turn all the lights off at night so if you go outside you can’t see anything the volcano is always covered so you can’t see any the food is really expensive and is not good food. They don’t change the bed sheets I really didn’t like it.
