Cabrillo Inn - always excellent service

Very close to the beach and Stern's Warf. Our room was like most basic king rooms in a small hotel. We had a fridge but no microwave, However, when i asked it the hotel had a microwave we could use our host, Kirsten, said yes and she would get it for us. She is a small lady so I offered to carry it. She handled it by herself. Just and example of the excellent service we always get here from the staff, and the reason we keep coming back. Jose, the manager, and Humberto are always very helpful and fun to talk to.

Castillo Inn at the Beach was perfect! Exactly the type of hotel/motel I love! One story, quiet courtyard, parking right close to your room. The patio was an added bonus. The front desk manager, Jose, was so welcoming! We loved our stay and would definitely return.

This place was a nice sunny one floor building across the street from the beach. within walking distance of many shopping and running options. 10 minute walk into downtown. Staff was friendly, and they made everything convenient even going as far as making recommending places to find in the area.

Really liked this little gem. Clean, neat, very appealing room in the best sense of “old school” comfort with a great little private patio out back to enjoy morning coffee in the sun or with an umbrella. Great location an easy walk to the waterfront/marina/wharf and also downtown at a rate that doesn’t break the bank. Nice, friendly staff too. I’ll be back.

Great for the price

It was good but the door didnt work for our card key and they had to come out and reset the door lock. Put us back about 15 minutes when we werentrying to leave. Other than that it was good

Nice place at a good price

Friendly and helpful check-in. Spacious comfortable room with coffeemaker and fridge. Also had a little patio, though not sure why I'd sit there, surrounded by a fence... Great value
