This Santa Barbara cottage is located in the carefree West Beach neighborhood. It’s filled with small bungalows and boutique hotels that are just steps from the beach, Stearns Wharf, State Street, Funk Zone, and the Harbor. The Brewhouse, Toma, Jeannine's Bakery, and Chad’s restaurants frequented by locals, and Amtrak station are all close by making the walkability that much better.

Walk through the beautiful courtyard with a picturesque fountain and morning bistro area. The open concept Kitchen and Living Room features a comfy couch and modern appliances with courtyard views. Both Bedrooms are outfitted with stylish furnishings and the wraparound deck offers a private outdoor dining area. A uniquely special design are original Gregory Beeman paintings, specifically commissioned for this property.

The Hideaway sits below The Lookout at West Beach and adjacent to The Cottage at West Beach, each offering the similarly unique design and amenities. All 3 units of this triplex are available through Paradise Retreats. Imagine a wonderful family reunion and rent all three!

Overall the stay was great. We did encounter an issue with the grill but the staff was right on it when we reported the issue. The place was very clean and the size just right for the four of us. The patio right outside the door was used often. The picnic table out the kitchen door was use for breakfast and the dinners we cooked in!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hideaway. It was a great location. We could walk everywhere ... the beach, State St, etc. Both inside and outside were great spaces to hang.

Cute little spot!

We had a nice stay at the Hideaway. It’s a great location! Close to everything. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wish the shower was a little easier for short people. Had to climb in and out and couldn’t reach the knob for the hand held sprayer. But that was it! Had some questions but the management company was very responsive. We’re planning on staying there again.

Hidden Gem!

What a wonderful week we had at the Hideaway! The house was across the street from the beach, a block or so from State street and within walking/biking distance to everywhere worth seeing in downtown SB. The backyard water feature was so wonderful! The house had every amenity we needed and the neighborhood was perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Fabulous stay at The Hideaway

The Hideaway exceeded my expectations. All appliances were in excellent working condition, nice huge tub for kids bath, large private patio area, full size washer/dryer, and garage parking was a bonus. As far as location, I could not have asked for a better one. Steps to the beach, steps to Chad's Cafe, a short 5 minute walk to MOXI Museum, McConnell's ice cream, and walking distance to State Street and the Funk Zone-- both about a 10 minute walk. Of the 5 days we were there we only got in the car once to drive to the zoo. Highly recommend this property! We hope to be back soon.

Relaxed indoor and outdoor living

We had a great time in Santa Barbara. The West Beach house was a perfect fit for us. Our daughter was graduating from Westmont College. So the location was great. The proximity to downtown, the pier and the beach was also super convenient. The gardens are beautiful and the outside living spaces were a real plus for us. When we come back we’ll stay at West Beach house again.

Great location close to the beach and restaurants

This property is in a great location! Quiet streets close to all of the action. It had everything we needed and more. We loved the enclosed patio and the beach gear. The only improvement that could be made is to fix the beds so they don't squeak. We couldn't turn over without waking each other up.

Hidden simple gem

Fabulous location near Funk zone and Long Beach walks but very quiet and peaceful. Well equipped kitchen and thanks for the gratis bottle of wine. Wonderful checkin. Super clean.
