Welcome to Ohana - a taste of Hawaii in Santa Cruz!  NEWLY REMODELED IN 2023!



Located in central Santa Cruz and less than a 10 minute walk from Cowell's Beach, the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and the Santa Cruz Beach & Boardwalk - you can park your vehicle and walk everywhere from this well- designed artisan's retreat.  However, consider this your fair warning:  you may not want to wander too far from this property!  Instantly impressive as you step through the front door and meet with the rich entertainer's kitchen, African wood flooring and designer décor - the real pull of this property comes from the sunny lanai and the well designed indoor and outdoor layout.  The comfortable patio seating, putting green, and a free-form bocce ball court. The tranquil and lush gardens BEG you to fire up the BBQ early and spend your evenings relaxing in the backyard.



This single level floor plan has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, including the spacious master suite which features private access to the hot tub. Ohana has quality amenities throughout and is cozy and warm with old-world finishes including three fireplaces,  limestone floors, and an inviting lanai that transitions seamlessly to the backyard. This home easily accommodates two to three families traveling together and is a wonderful home for sharing holiday or summer vacation memories.



Ohana means "family" in Hawaiian - and what better way to create memories with loved ones than at a lovely vacation rental reminiscent of Hawaii, but located in the heart of Santa Cruz.

The location can't be beat. It's a short 2 or 3 block walk from the pier. The house has ample parking - easy to fit 2 or 3 cars in the driveway. The host made everything so simple - everything was on the app, from the WiFi code, to information about the property. The house was super well appointed - for example, a great coffee machine and plenty of filters. Awesome back yard to hang out in, and a big hot tub (very private) as well as an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Great TVs, strong WiFi signal, super comfortable beds, awesome towels (thick and plush). This place really feels like you are staying at your best friend's vacation home - not a rental. This place has my highest recommendation. I've stayed here twice now and I love it.

Annual trip spent at Ohana

Our annual trip to Santa Cruz was made even better when we stayed at the Ohana property. Wow!!! Kudos to the owners and management team. Location was awesome to Dream Inn, downtown, and of course, the boardwalk! The property was outstanding. Each parent(s) had their own room and bathroom and the young adults/teens were able to share rooms conveniently. Kitchen is very well stocked in terms of pans and utensils. There are different seating areas inside as well as outside the house where you can be social or solitary. The hot tub and putting green were awesome. Our favorite place, though, was sitting outside around the fire! Will definitely book this property again!

Fun getaway with family

Close to boardwalk but not noisy. We ran on the trail to the light house every day, walked to restaurants and threw plastic axes in the backyard. Perfect setup for the 8 of us. Thanks for hosting

Perfect family spot

This house was the perfect home base for our extended family visit to Santa Cruz for our daughter’s graduation. It was well appointed with everything we needed and more! We loved relaxing and playing games in the beautiful backyard. The putting green was so fun! The host was very responsive and welcoming. We highly recommend this property.

Great location, beautiful house

Once settled in you can walk to everything! We did not have nice weather during our stay, so we did drive more than expected, but the boardwalk and many restaurants are a quick walk from the house. We were cozy inside with several fireplaces and we played some games in the large backyard. We would definitely stay there again.
