The Swell House is a newly renovated boutique hotel, with access to everything. Within about 200 yards you have Blacks Beach, Farmers Market, restaurants, shopping. Within walking distance you have the harbor, Twin Lakes Beach, Sunny Cove Beach and Starbucks. Everything you want for a Santa Cruz trip all at your fingertips
Just yards from the beach, this small boutique hotel is your escape. The suites have been fully remodeled and decorated for a tranquil yet vibrant beach setting.
The Swell House Suites. Your welcoming suite is set up for access to everything with easy in and out. Santa Cruz’s best beaches are just a short stroll away.
Beach-chic convenient living.
The newly renovated suites are fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering experience. Dine in or out, it is up to you, everything you need for meal preparation or just snacks during a break from the beach. All suites include a spacious sitting area with a sofa and entertainment center. Private bedrooms offer a calming sanctuary for your vital rest.
After dinner, you can stroll back to the beach for sunset or better yet, walk to The Crow’s Nest for sundowners.

The space includes a fully outfitted kitchen, large living room and hi-top bar for meals. The sofa-sleeper is there for your kids.
Conveniently located between Capitola by the Sea and downtown Santa Cruz, this tranquil hotel is just a short walk from prime surfing spots, beaches, cafes, restaurants, and shops.
We are happy to be one of the few places to allow a well-trained pet to accompany you. We just ask that you don't allow it on the furniture or leave it home alone during your stay. Limit of one animal per stay.

This property is a FULLY SELF SERVICE PROPERTY. There are no staff on site and all guest communications and interactions are done electronically. There is access to additional linens and housewares. There is no daily housekeeping services. Rooms will be serviced every three days.
