our stay was great loved that we could swim in the ocean. It was so warm and beautiful, and the food was good. All the staff were amazing and accommodating the property was very clean. It is a smaller resort which we liked.

Very nice building and layout, excellent staff and service. Food was okay, not great. The pools looked great but the constant loud noise kept us away. Non-stop music and people yelling into microphones for activities that often had only 2 or 3 participants. We spent little time on our balcony in the evening as the loud thump, thump of electronic dance music coming from the pool area wasn't conducive to having a relaxing time.The beach was great and we spent most of our time there. Not many loungers and the shade covers were in pretty rough shape but at least it was away from the noise at the pools.

This is a nice spot with exceptionally friendly staff. The room was comfortable with a mini-bar which was restocked daily. Several nights they set up a barbecue by the pool for dinner. The entertainment was outstanding, each show was different and the performers were incredible. The beach was very steep and the sand was coarse and uncomfortable to walk on but many people were on the beach all day.

The Barceló Huatulco is the perfect sized resort. Not too big; not too small. But what makes the place stand out are the people. Everyone is friendly and thoughtful but then there are so many who go that extra mile and take your holiday to the next level. Alvaro at the pool bar is amazing, Karla at la tortega is always a sweetheart, Francisco was everywhere ready to help you, Carlos and Miguel always took great care of us at breakfast and lunch & Victor did the same at Don Rosa for dinner. Again, there are so many great people who work here. We’ve been here three years in a row and are already planning our next trip. Would highly recommend to anyone

The food its very poor quality, this resort has to change the menu, the food its not cooked properly, the fish its impossible ( dorada), the main restaurant cannot accommodate people's, long line. Overall food quality the biggest problem. Never comeback!

Location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. Quality of food was average. It would be good for the hotel to provide a a change room and shower room for late check-outs. Bracelets should be valid until departure.

Room, staff, pool, beach were all excellent. Al a Cart restaurants also excellent. Buffet just ok. Buffet area is small and lacking in choices, but having said that we never walked away hungry. Would come again!

Barcelo Huatulco is a lovely clean and friendly resort, with fantastic staff. Seems like us retirees need a bit more shade options though, without resorting to hanging out in the lobby area. The only negative is the lack of amenities on checkout day. Once your tag is cut off and you have 3 hours to wait for an airport transfer, it would be nice if they allowed you to get some lunch. After all, on day 1, we only got there after 7pm so it seems reasonable to let us have something to eat before leaving for the airport. Great all inclusive.

Our stay was wonderful! We were celebrating a milestone birthday and were treated very well. We booked VIP and enjoyed great meals and our rooms were excellent! The staff who provided exceptional service this week were, Fernando for pool drink service, Eduardo in the VIP lounge and Isreal who provided us with great pool activities. The staff in the Mexican al la carte were fantastic! We will be returning for sure!
