Relaxing Stay

We stayed in one of the three upper units. As an on-site owner residing on the lower level, Elizabeth was communicative, helpful, accommodating and responsive to issues. Plantings in the yard are the most beautiful in the village. Our apartment was clean and stocked with basic supplies. WiFi worked well for our purposes. Elizabeth is in the process of replacing chaise cushion covers and adding cushions on the spacious upper deck. Shade sails would be an excellent addition. As described, the home is located in a small fishing village that has become a Canadian Expat enclave. Rapid development means everything else (water, sewer, power grid, roads, etc.) has some catching up to do. Except for construction vehicles passing in front of the house, it’s sleepy during the week, fun and crowded with Manta residents escaping the city heat on the weekends. This is the perfect location for a week or two to enjoy the ocean view, be lulled by the pounding of the surf, and hang out by the pool. If you want to meet new people and socialize, this is the laid back place to do so.
