Right in the town centre

The room had a terrible view of a car park about 6 metres away. Other than that the apartment was more than adequate for a place to sleep.

Nice residential/hotel building

The stay at this location was pleasant. But note, this is not a hotel. This building is a residential building and some units are rented out as hotel units. Because of this, you don't get your room cleaned or towels changed on a daily basis. If you don't mind this, then the place is completely fine. The room is spacious, as well as the bathroom. The TV is a bit small for the room, but we didn't come to Santiago to watch TV so I didn't care too much. The location is great - it's walking distance to many attractions - the center, barrio bella vista, barrio lastarria, etc. It also felt safe (the building and the area). We went out ever night, mostly walking and I never felt uneasy.

Great location, live like a local

As many others have stated, this is not a hotel. If you want to have a lobby and be able to call reception to ask your questions or order a taxi, this place is not for you. If, however, you are independent and just want a place to crash, this place is great. It's an apartment in a building where many locals live. There is a phone in the apartment though and you can always call the staff if you have any questions. The only thing is that's they're not at the location.

Two days in Santiago...

Spent two nights here to "do" Santiago prior to going to Valparaiso to catch a cruise ship. Very nice apartment in really good central location, and very good value. Would happily recommend.

Highly recommended

I needed to go to Santiago for several days of research--to look at historical sites and interview people about them. The Soho one-bedroom apart-hotel was perfect. I had a little cozy living room/kitchen area, with enough seating for 6 people. Everything is modest and not brand-new, but the place was clean, and charming. And the neighborhood was terrific--very safe for wandering, easy to get around, and lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Normally, I think you go to another building to get keys and sign in. But since I arranged an early check-in, my keys were waiting at the reception desk on the first floor, and I was able to do check-in by filling out paperwork, taking a phone photo, and emailing the form to them. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Santiago.

Well Situated, Comfortable Lodging.

Returning from a tiring Peru trip prior to flying back to Australia, we needed a place to relax for two days, which Soho Santiago Apartments provided us with.

Great Vacation!

The apartment is in a great location. The entire office staff is awesome, very helpful. It is not a hotel so you don't have a hotel check-in desk but when you arrive someone from the office staff comes to meet you, gives you the key and explains the process. The apartment is very comfortable and is equipped with pots, pans, silverware, etc. It's very clean. Only (1) TV in bedroom. No housekeeping daily services. The price was excellent and the apartment is in the heart of Santiago. Thanks so much to Anna and the office manager for all their help. They go far and beyond to help you. We will definately stay here again.

Excellent location and wifi

Great location. Very safe. Right near train stationm no issues at all.should give it a 5 star rating but i was there at time of earthquake in santiago on september. After returning from my meal after feeling the shakes, i couldnt go back up to my room (understandable) but no one speak english at reception at all (tho all very very nice for the week i was there). I didnt know what to do and there was no wifi in lobby so had to find the bar down the corner to get more info. Otherwise very good. The lady that orga ised this was there when i arrived , by chance but wasnt that helpful afterwards. But awesome place, and location and it got cleaned halfway thru my stay. Tv didnt work and lousy view but all fine.

Hotels.com has some wrong info on their website. There is no 24-hour front desk. There is only a doorman who does not work for the 'hotel' management group. Also, they cannot/will not store your luggage as indicated on Hotels.com. This cause a major inconvenience for us and cost us money, too.

Cocooned in the center of Santiago

This is an apartment hotel near the old city centre-very historic area, sadly this street has a lot of parking garages on it-rather grotty.. Graffiti was everywhere--people ignored it. One-bedroom apartment was very comfortable once they came to get heater working! No TV for 10 days! Kitchen compact and very good. Uneven towel exchange service. 16th floor facing north--to the right was the Andes--impressive! I could walk everywhere in the central area--barely one block to Bellas Artes Metro. Half a block away was a great supermarket! Manager was helpful . Room needed painting.

Fantastic old Hotel

The Savoy is a beautiful building and in a good location , the breakfast is very good. The rooms lack tea/coffee making facility, but the beds are very comfortable and bathroom is spacious

Perfect Location and cosy apartment

In a central location. Within walking distance to major attractions. Apartment is very clean and well equipped. If you have issues about the apartment and email the office, they will respond to your issue pretty much straight away provided it is within office hours. Happy with our stay. Will return if we go to Santiago again.

Perfect location and great service

The location is perfect.Big supermarket nearby and all landmarks are within walking distance. We stayed twice at the apartment. The second time when we stayed, the bin and refreshments were not taken care of properly, so we emailed management and they sent someone in to fix it straight away. Really appreciated their prompt service.

A good apartment in a good location.

I booked in for two nights, and needed up staying for five due to weather conditions in Chile. The price for the three last nights was about 30% higher, but still good value. The apartment is in a building with a doorman, which is great for a solo female traveller. It's a very cute apartment with kitchen/living, bedroom and bathroom. The towels are changed every two days and the place is clean. There's abate tub, which is rare. Yanira is very helpful and will show you where to get laundry done, point out the supermarket etc. This is a really good area of Santiago, and the apartment is just around the corner from the metro and the museums.
