We arrived at the entrance of the property after traveling for more than 20 hours, and the experience of getting into the apartment was not what I expected. We were greeted by the security guard, who only spoke Portuguese and did not accept the booking confirmation we showed him. This left us standing outside with our luggage. After trying to contact the phone numbers provided in the booking, I eventually decided to go to the nearest mall to figure things out and get something to eat. After some time, we finally got in touch with someone connected to the apartment, who assisted us with the registration process. There are some other things I could mention, but to sum it up—the check-in experience was definitely a one-star. My stay in Rio, by comparison, was excellent.

The apartment is great! But it's misleadingly advertised, saying it sleeps four people when in fact it's for a couple with a small child. It only has a double bed and a sofa bed for a child. There were three of us, and I had to sleep curled up on the tiny sofa bed. Furthermore, the building is located in an unsafe area, with a high risk of robberies! The security guards were always terrified of being robbed. We always waited ages for the security guard to open the garage door, and when he appeared, he would stand far away. I had to shout from inside the car that we were guests and give our names for him to open the door, because he wouldn't come near the gate for fear of robbery! Honestly, I didn't think it was a good stay. I won't be back, and I don't recommend it!
