So so

Parking was fine, check-in was easy - just a code. Room (fish creek) was pretty tiny, although the bathroom was good sized. It would make sense in a bathroom that size to have a vanity rather than a pedestal sink, though. There's no place to put your toiletries. The most interesting thing about the bathroom was the shade on the window, which provided very little privacy. Maybe it was different from the outside looking in, but from the inside looking out, you can see everything going by. I tried to figure out what I might be doing wrong, but there was no other apparent window covering.
The bathroom window covering didn't seem to cover a whole lot.

The room was nice and cozy, and I loved looking out over the water. Check in was good, but there was no check up on me to see if I needed anything. I reached out for something and about 36 hours later received a response. I didn't mind not having a coffee maker in the room because there was one in the hallway. However, the coffee maker in the hallway did not work well. Also, when I plugged in the kettle for tea, it shorted everything out. The hot water in the shower and bathroom sink was luke warm, not hot enough to shower.

Starting with the positives: View was lovely, bed was comfortable, room was cute. Negatives: No coffee in rooms – and the coffee machine in hallway would not heat after 30 minutes. There was only one type of coffee offered, and no decaf. Room heat and air could not be adjusted. The hotel listed lake front but the beach access was closed. We were instructed to get ice from restaurant but were only given a half container of ice and no access to ice in the morning. Just an incredibly disappointing stay.

This place is a hidden gem right on the lake. the room was very comfortable and the restaurant is excellent. Short drive from Saratoga downtown and Saratoga battlefield. Would definitely stay again.

I LOVE it at The Nest! My 2nd time staying here. The room is just perfect for the singe traveler, self check in is super easy, beautiful view right on the lake, and restaurant literally steps away.

I thought everything was lovely. Everyone was pleasant and graciously answered all my questions. The room was clean and the bed was wonderful. The temperature was just right. The television had multiple channels and was easy to work. My only problem was with the WiFi. If you will need it for work, you may have to travel to another spot. Other than that I had absolutely no complaints and I would definitely recommend a stay there. I plan to go back.
