Check-in was fast, easy, and we were put into a beautifully renovated suite. Within minutes I received a call from the front desk stating they put us on a floor that was not pet friendly. We were moved to an old room, which I expected. What I didn't expect is how gross it would be. There is significant mold in the bathtub, the tub and sink drain very slowly, the carpet and drapes have significant stains. We were charged extra for having a small dog, which I expect, but in this instance it's surprising because the room is already so disgusting.

Not a good stat, have stayed at the sandman multiple times in the past and was always good. Booked for 2 nights and got there room was so hot… went down they moved us to another room… that room was just barely not hot. AC set at 17 but definitely not working right. We left in morning and told them it was hot like uncomfortable hot, they said they would have maintenance fix it or move us… they did neither of those and housekeeping didn’t even show up, no towels or beds cleaned etc only 20 degrees outside and was hotter in our room than that. Won’t book at sandman again, nobody even seemed to care at all when I told them.

Rooms were very old . Mattress needed to be replaced , it dipped to middle. A/c was old and hardly worked. Bathroom was very dated . Homeless people in parking lot asking for money. Lots of cigarette butts all over ground . No garbage cans around after picking up picking up after dogs. Rooms are overpriced for what you get .
