Great place to stay for families

House was perfect for a large family, two night stay in Sault Ste. Marie. Only took less than five minutes to drive downtown and it was about a 10 minute walk from the house to the original soo locks boat tour (highly recommend!). The house was clean and stocked with everything you need to cook food. Much better experience than getting a hotel, especially if you have children. Would stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

St Patrick's Day

House was great. Driveway could have been plowed a bit wider and the bush needs trimmed closer almost scratched my new truck. Other than that the place was excellent. Thanks for the clean house. .

Absolutely spotless and really cute and comfortable. I really appreciated bedside lamps because not many places I stay have them. Well equipped kitchen and good high efficiency washing machine. Highly recommend!

Great place to see the Soo from

We went for an event at Kewadin, which was just down the road. The locks and other sights in town werent much farther. Easy biking from the house to several routes. The house was great, a little cozy in the bathroom but otherwise just fine. The window air conditioner more tham made up for the inability to open the front windows for air. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. The main bed room's bed was a little jard but the pad from the pullout made it quite comfortable. The event we came for won't be there next year but if we come back to the Soo this place is on our short list!

Sweet little house with everything you need.

This property is exactly as described. It is immaculately clean and tidy. It has a lot of cute decorations, without going all the way to tacky. The kitchen is very well appointed for a rental. I cooked almost every meal, and there wasn't one thing I needed that I didn't find. In fact, the instructions suggest bringing a cutting board (which I did), but when we arrived the owner now supplies one. I also brought my own knife. Experience has taught me that rentals rarely have sharp knives. Again, I was pleasantly surprised that they were quite good. All of the appliances worked and there are even two coffee makers, a Keurig, and a 4-cup drip coffee maker. Coffee pods or ground coffee were also provided (tea too, of course). BONUS: the owner provided fudge stripe cookies and marshmallows to make ad-hoc s'mores (on the gas grill). We passed on the marshmallows, but the cookies were a real treat. Just a couple of things that are more of a matter of preference so I didn't knock off stars in my rating. #1 If you cook, take some care with the stove burners. The coils are a little bit wobbly, and you need to hold onto the pan when stirring or it might wobble right onto the floor. (Note: owner notified upon checkout) #2 I personally don't care for a super firm mattress, and these were all of that. I had to put a folded comforter and thin pillows under me to sleep, but my husband had no such problem, even though he agreed the bed was very hard. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Super cute spot

We enjoyed our stay! This house has everything we needed and we loved how comfortable it was. There was a little difficulty with the new lock system but owner was very accommodating and helped us access the property with a new code.

Family Vacation

We had a great time exploring Sault Ste Marie. So close to downtown but far enough away to enjoy quiet time at the house & in the yard. Very clean house with many small things to make the stay easier. Would highly recommend!!

Anniversary stay

This was a cute place. My husband and myself liked the coziness of the house, but we really loved the firepit! (That is on the days it didn't rain.) This was a great getaway place. We weren't far from the water or downtown.
