The hotel lobby looked outdated. Some of the staff were very loud and not as professional as expected. The hotel charges for parking, but we couldn't find parking on both nights. Thankfully, the security gentleman was very helpful and allowed us to park in front of other cars that weren't expected to get out. At night there was a lot of noise outside of our room, people partying or arguing.

Greatest downtown location. Parking was awful, we had no space after paying. We were told to park at another hotel. Although the other hotel was 1 mn drive, we had to drive through crawds and it took us 10mn, just to find out they were full too... the staff was great though, give her a raise! No eggs at breakfast, waited 15mn, nothing...

When we arrived at 10PM, the day of check in, our room was dirty. No one was available to clean it. The front desk employee did end up cleaning it and we were able to get in our room by 11PM. She said she gave us extra towels, but when we got up there we had one bath towel and a lot of wash clothes. My kids dried with washcloths and we made do. For $258 I was expecting a little better.

Staff that goes above and beyond

The customer service at this hotel was hands down the best I have ever experienced (and I travel a lot!). The staff and manager went above and beyond to help me with issues I had with my credit card. Everyone was extremely friendly. The breakfast was great and they have coffee available all the time! The location was perfect! We could easily walk to everything. They have a concierge there to help with any travel needs. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We had friends that paid much more money for their hotel but ended up liking ours better because of the heated pool. Highly recommend!!!

This was our 1st time visiting Savannah. It was a perfect location cross the street and go down some steps and you are on River Street. We did not have any maid service. They said they were short on staff. So no clean towels and no coffee.
