Flo's Hideaway is a cute and comfy 2 bedroom and two full bath home that sits on a sweet street near the marsh in Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a quaint fishing community located between Savannah and Tybee Island making travel to downtown and the beach a breeze! A 10 minute drive to Historic Savannah and a 15 minute drive to the beach, Flo’s Hideaway is 7/10 mile from Bonaventure Cemetery as well as within walking distance to great bars and restaurants, the Freedom Boat Club at Bahia Blue Marina and the fishing pier at Honey Park! There is a queen sofa bed located in the living room area. We are pet friendly when traveling with a small dog.

What an excellent, cozy, clean, & convenient place to stay in Thunderbolt/Savannah! The hosts were outstanding: left clear instructions, were very communicative, & friendly. The house was comfortable & the neighborhood was outstanding in every regard. The beds were just right. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to work in. Highlights: easy walk to the park & pier at the end of the road, sweet little restaurant RIGHT next door, & one of the best antique shops in town barely a 1/2 block away. So many excellent places to eat in a very short distance. Easy access to downtown, Isle of Hope, & Tybee. Will definitely stay at Flo's again.

It’s actually more spacious than it looks in the pictures and overall it looked and felt clean aside from a roach that decided to come out on our check out morning. The main bed was a little too soft but that is probably just personal preference. Only other feedback is that the entrance to the house is sandy without pavers so we drug that into the house.

We were very pleased to find out that the VRBO was close to most things we wanted to do. The cottage was very nice. Kitchen needs a few items like some rubber spatulas and fresh black pepper. Overall, it was comfortable and appreciated.

Such a nice home to stay in! The house had what we needed for our comfort! I found 3 little glass duck “Easter Eggs”. Would definitely come back here! Finch’s across the street had a great atmosphere. A short walk too us to a fishing pier where we met friendly people fishing and crabbing!

We had a great stay! The owners were very responsive. The home was clean and spacious. We loved that it was very pet friendly as well! Our only recommendation would be to add a TV on the secondary bedroom. We would definitely stay again!
