The woman who checked us in was the sweetest and had a great sense of humor. Which I appreciated after 14 hrs in the car. We got an end room was great. As we have a 7 year old who I often worry will annoy people if he gets excited or talks loudly. The only down side was the bathroom. There was boogers or blood on the wall to the right of the mirror and more on the inside of the tub. I didn’t get close enough to figure out which it was. As we just needed a rest before the next leg of our trip home. But honestly. If every hotel had the kind of employee checked me in last night. There could never be a bad stay!

We were woken up by VERY LOUD drunk partiers who arrived at the room next to ours at about 3am. This essentially ruined our night's sleep. I would not return to a Holiday Inn as it seems to attract partiers.

My stay at the Holiday Inn was extremely disappointing. In the first room I was given, I saw two roaches one of which got into my food. I immediately went to the front desk to report the issue, and they moved me to a different room. However, shortly before checking out, I saw a lizard in the new room. I brought this to the attention of the front desk again, this time speaking with the manager. His response was that the site was not infested and that he would “accommodate” me. The accommodation turned out to be a mere $15 credit. I have stayed at many hotels and have never had an experience like this. Trust me when I say do not book a stay at this Holiday Inn.

I made the grave mistake of booking this property again AVOID booking this property It is creepy location Although brightly lit in the front of the hotel. Staff extremely slow and unfriendly there is NO complimentary ‘breakfast’. Even if it’s nasty Food. NO coffee or anything. But instead you can pay a lot more the bar for breakfast. Of course we didn’t we went to iHop Most importantly this property is filthy if you look Closer-just Closet Not scrutinizing Tap around the sink faucet has accumulated slime turning color. Shower head is loose and hardly functioning w water reatrictor Holiday Inn express Is mediocre chain and we never expected much , But this is really just NASTY

Stranded by the storm in Savannah

My kids and I were driving home from FL following a cruise and found out an ice storm was hitting along the I-95 corridor at the same time we were to be driving home. So in the interest of safety we decided to take an overnight til the storm passed. The hotel was conveniently located off I-95. I was a little skeptical at the choice because we some issues with the key card and the door not opening to even get in the room at first. The front desk attendant explained how some of their door handles had to be wiggled to get them to open. On entry we found the room to be well cleaned but the TV didn't work and nobody came up to check it out even though I called. Thankfully the kids were stocked with books and other activities but if we were there for a longer stay it would have been annoying. I always look for a pool on stays and the description on hotels.com mentioned a pool but didn't specify that it's outdoors and obviously closed for the season. Again a little bummer and something that would have swayed my decision if we were staying longer. But again the room was clean the heat worked well and the staff was polite.
