The property is in a great location for strolling in Forsyth, taking long walks in any direction and proximal to all the great shops, restaurants, etc. in Savannah. Very clean property, and a really nice layout, with two separate and spacious bedrooms (plus 1 1:2 bathrooms, which is a bonus if there are multiple guests). Douglas was also very responsive to my questions, and proactively reached out to see if I needed suggestions for things to do in Savannah. Highly recommend this property and host!

The home is in a very safe, walkable neighborhood. Forsyth Park is just two blocks away, where I walked each morning. This 1886-built home is very nice with a remodeled kitchen and its 1.5 bathrooms. The original hardwood flooring is in good condition. The vintage architecture, mouldings, and 12'(?) ceilings are incredible. It has a nice patio, and quiet attached neighbors. Check-in was easy, and the owner answers questions quickly. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. Two things: make sure you check the signs on the street as street sweeping is daily, at different times, on different streets (the owner warned about this). Make sure when you touch the keypad, you press the checkmark button first, then enter the code. We will definitely stay again.

Doug was a gem and responded nearly immediately when we had a question. The place is lovely, and location was perfect for our stay. Wish we could have taken advantage of more of the property because it is adorable, but we were on the go constantly. I suspect we will be back more often since we just acquired family in Savanna, so we look forward to making the place our home again in the future.

Perfect spot for a girl's weekend. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE! The courtyard was a perfect gathering place between trips downtown. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay full kitchen, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches throughout.The location was great, just minutes from all the charm that Savannah has to offer. Great Hideaway, Great Location

Great location near the park and the river

Great place that was wonderful for a girls trip. 20 minute walk to the river and 3 minute walk to the park. Great living space indoor and outdoor as well as large bathroom for getting ready and comfortable mattresses. Free parking on the street. Recommend bringing bug spray

We had a great time at this charming cottage: remote, quiet, beautiful nature. House was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all the essentials and more! Including sunscreen :) The screened porch was a great place to sip coffee and watch the birds at the bird feeder- and stay away from the mosquitos! Grill was available along with all the supplies. The host provided plenty of recommendations for restaurants (we tried the Dredge, Merrior and Los Compadres- all great!) , things to visit and explore. We loved Wake beach and Hughlett point natural area preserve- highly recommend taking the shore trail (pic below) . Choice of 2 Supermarkets about 15-20 min away. Ride into town is under 10 min. We ventured more often into Kilmarnock , slightly bigger town with a nice park. Host was available when we had questions and responded promptly. We also had our small dog who had the big yard to explore. If you love a nature retreat, this is a great place to enjoy time away from the crowds.

SCAD check in home base

Terrific house served as a perfect home base for us as we dropped our student off to start at SCAD. Charming, functional, clean, with a well stocked kitchen and great dining room which served us well for our last family dinner together. Walkable to everything and loved being son close to Forsyth park. The owner was very responsive. Great home base for a visit to Savannah
