Beautiful peaceful place!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful rental. Truly we stay in many wonderful VRBO rentals, but this was one of the best! Started and ended our days on the back porch with its fabulous (peaceful) river view. In between had easy access to wherever we wanted/needed to go thus excellent location. House has so many extra touches; wine cooler, ice maker, air pump (for pool floats), kayaks, fishing poles...whatever one needed seemed to be there. The lovely surroundings (front and back) added to the comfortable and welcoming feel of this exquisite home. You can't go wrong with a stay at Moon River House.

Spring break 2025

Fantastic family vacation at this wonderful home. The nearby town has a few great spots to eat and the house has literally everything you need to stay in and enjoy the pool, dock, crabbing and fishing and kayaking. It was wonderful.

Perfect for a girls weekend!

We came to Savannah for a girls trip and this house was perfect! The location is close to the airport, downtown Savannah and the beach. There was plenty of room for us and has the best views. The pool/patio is large and perfect for a relaxing day. Lisa was quick to respond to our questions leading up to and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property!

Great spring weekend getaway!

We stay at a lot of nice VRBO houses, and this was among our favorites. The fishing and kayaking right from the dock are great activities. And the house is well maintained and functional, plus spacious with great views. Lisa is easy to communicate with and super nice. We hope to be back!

Lovely House and Lovely Setting

Very homey feel, beautiful house, beautiful setting and equal access to Savannah and Hilton Head. Close to Wormslow and a must visit location … beautiful live oak alley and walk, trolly or bike ride. Seen dolphins by the dock too.

Great home! Perfect location! That view 😍!

Lisa was awesome! The home was stocked with many extras like hand soap at every sink, dishwasher detergent, laundry pods, paper towels and napkins etc… which made settling in to the very comfy home that much easier! The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots and pans, serving platters and also condiments that you typically don’t get in a home rental. We cooked all meals at home. Very comfortable beds too. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

We booked this home for a wedding weekend. It was so spacious. Huge kitchen and living area plus plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which allowed us to spread out. Wonderful views and very welcoming. Owner was great to work with and home is in a great location. Would love to return!

Great weekend despite the rain

My husband and 2 adult children plus their spouses came to Savannah for a long weekend. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend. This did not stop us from having a great time. The house was perfect for us. It was very comfortable and had all the things we needed. The host, Lisa, was the best. She was very accommodating and quick to reply to our emails. I would highly recommend renting this house.

Charming house on the river

Absolutely wonderful property for a long weekend with friends. The house had ample space for 3 couples and well-stocked kitchen to make breakfast and lunches. The views from the deck are stunning, and the neighborhood is quiet and serene. Excellent communication with the host Lisa. Absolutely recommended!
