Spend blissful days walking hand in hand along the beaches at Aldeburgh and Southwold, or browsing the fascinating ancient burial treasures at Sutton Hoo. In the evening, come home to this light and bright cottage to relax on the patio with a glass of wine and watch the sun set.

Step inside this unique cottage and you’ll find a cheerful open-plan studio space on the ground floor, as well as a fabulous mezzanine bedroom above. Beautiful bi-fold doors flood the space with natural light, and the vaulted window on the mezzanine level offer fabulous views. Make yourself at home in the cosy sitting area before heading to the stylish kitchen area to whip up a romantic meal for two. Enjoy an intimate dinner in the dining area, or step outside onto the private patio to the front of the cottage and dine alfresco. After dinner, crack open a bottle of something fizzy and sit back to watch the stars come out, or snuggle up in front your favourite TV show in the sitting area. When it’s time for bed, retire to the beautiful bedroom on the mezzanine level.

Set out to explore Snape (0.5 miles) – a lovely village sitting at the head of the picturesque Alde Estuary. You’ll find plenty of boutiques, galleries, art centres and cafes at the village’s Maltings complex. Alternatively, head to Sutton Hoo (10.5 miles) and allow the ancient burial treasures to mesmerise you.
