The cabin was cute, very clean, and comfortable. The setting and outdoor seating area was lovely and private. For us, it was a big let-down that the stream / pond was bone dry, as it was a reason we chose this property. This is the only reason we give it 4 stars.

We rented this cabin while attending a nearby wedding and really enjoyed our stay overall. The cabin itself is very charming, and the fire pit area was a highlight—especially on our final evening when we were able to relax and enjoy the outdoor space.The king and queen beds were very comfortable; however, the guests using the twin bed and the upstairs pull-out sofa did not find those options as comfortable. Additionally, some of the living room furniture could use updating, particularly the smaller chair, which lacked sufficient support. The outdoor seating area could also be enhanced with a few more rocking chairs and a newer table to better accommodate guests.With a few updates, this property has great potential and would likely attract many returning guests for years to come.

The cabin was rustic and cozy. The overall property was peaceful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch away from the hubbub of the city. The only negative were the train horns on the nearby tracks but we got used to it. Great location for a quiet getaway!

If you are looking for a place of rest and relaxation then this is the place. The cabin is stocked with supplies and is wonderfully and comfortably furnished. The beds are extremely comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this is one that we would repeat.

Mostly peaceful (occasional train going by) wonderful cabin in the piney woods. Tons of birds, lots of open space to enjoy. House was very comfortable, bed was excellent and couch let you sit back and relax. Dog friendly property and nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed and included a regular coffee pot plus keurig coffee maker and coffee. Extra guest toiletries provided in the bathroom were a nice addition. Nice fire pit and bbq pit were ready for use. Bring your folding chairs and sit outside to see the stars. Due to Texas drought, the water shown in the photos was not there, sadly. Parking was right at the porch and very accommodating.

Perfect cabin hidden away

Beautiful Property and Cozy Cabin!

The property is beautiful with so many trees. We loved sitting on the porch and patio area to enjoy the view. The cabin was perfect for us and the beds were compfy. It was very peaceful and not far at all from everything in town.

Painted Churches Road Trip

Round Top Texas event

Beautiful cozy cabin and 30 minutes from Round Top Texas. Stayed here so we could be close to the big antique event. Next time we hope to use the fire pit outside and enjoy their huge property. Hosts are so informative and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice Property but Not Enough Sleep Space

The house was quaint and cute but it did not sleep 12 people as the listing stated. Luckily we only had 10 people, but if we would have had any more they wouldn’t have had a place to sleep.
