Views Embody the Low Country

We stayed at this condo for a short girls' weekend. The location is incredible with breathtaking views of the marsh. The view from the back porch screams low country and is where we spent the majority of our time. The outdoor furniture is very nice and comfortable making the experience even better. Future renters should note that while the condo has undergone several renovations, there are several issues that still exist. The first one is the lack of utensils in the VERY small kitchen. There was one knife and no knife block, making it difficult to make meals in the kitchen. There are also many stairs: leading up to the front door, in the foyer to the second bedroom, the second bedroom to the living room, and then the living room to the kitchen. While this was not an issue for us, it could be an issue for people with small kids or older visitors. New mattresses are needed on the beds as they are very "soft" and you can feel the divots making it hard to sleep. Also, the pillows on the beds need to be replaced as they are very flat and uncomfortable. Sleep is paramount and it was not easily achieved with the beds / bedding / pillows at the condo. Finally, the curtains in the master bedroom need to be moved to the living room and the ones in the living room moved to the master bedroom. This may seem strange, but what this means is that there are black out curtains over the one living room window. The curtains in the master bedroom were gauzy and see through.

Great Spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Seabrook Island and this location is perfect for watching sunsets. The condo was exactly as described. Nice furnishings and the back porch is a great outdoor retreat. Access to a dock on the marsh is an added bonus.

Peace and relaxation

We have been staying in the island the last few years in different places, and we have fallen I love with this area. The sunsets were amazing and so quiet. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. One of my most favorite places we have stayed.

Beautiful View, Subpar Rental Pros: - Looks out over march and sunset views - Private dock for neighborhood - Walking Distance to Lakehouse (gym/pool/library) - but an fee is required to use - Local Seabrook Vacasa staff very responsive Cons: - Booked through VRBO, so got to pay booking fees to VACASA and VRBO. Lesson learned the hard way. Grrrr. - Marsh = bugs, but house windows have no screens - Washing machine AND dryer, both non- operational. Seabrook Island VACASA was very responsive and arranged to have new washer/dryer bought and installed when we informed them. However, they offered a small rebate for the week we went without washer and dryer, which did not materialize. - Bring EVERYTHING you may need. From coffee filters to counter cleaner to enough hangers.

The view was awesome as well as the condo. Bring knives, cutting board, and a shot glass if you are making cocktails. The kitchen utensils were lacking. This is a Vacasa rental. If you have any issues, go to the local office. The National office was non-responsive both via phone and text. Our issues were minor, but the local office took care of them immediately once contacted. I’d go back to this condo but would bring my own kitchen utensils!!

Never disappoints

Have stayed in several places on the island and none have disappointed me yet it is calm and quiet great place to relax and forget . The view from the balconies of the marsh and river were breathtaking and gorgeous. The kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Place was clean and decorated well. Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Incredible sunsets

We have been visiting Seabrook SC for about 20 years and have stayed on all sides of the island. We prefer the marsh side for the amazing variety of birds, including pink spoon bills, birds of prey, and countless others. Having a dock just outside the door was absolutely fantastic. The multi-level unit. 4 levels in all, was especially nice. Loved it. The steps involved might be a challenge for those with health issues, but for us, in our 60's, it was delightful. We are athletic and enjoyed the stairs. We are already planning to visit again! Fantastic views of the shrimp fleet and marsh. Sunsets incredible. Definitely recommend.

Good getaway

We enjoyed the property but I’m glad my kids are older because the stairs would’ve been hard with babies! There are stairs to get in, then stairs to go up to second level then third level then fourth- each level having a living area. We loved the screened in porch. I would recommend new furniture on the porch and a queen bed for the 2nd bedroom. We never even sat in the living room and didn’t turn any of the TVs on. Lots of batteries missing we just gave up. Also need some light bulbs added. There were outlets not working in the second bedroom in the bathroom also. Small minor things we had a good stay and it was very clean. Most importantly we had great communication

Definitely Worth the Booking!

The property needs some minor updating, such as recaulking the shower and fixing the tracks of some of the bifold doors. Otherwise, the property was perfect, and the dock is located directly behind the property!

Had a great time, overall great experience

Property was very nice, pictures don’t do it justice. Furniture in the main bedroom had been updated since these pictures were taken, and was very nice. Both beds were very comfortable. Dock is just steps away from the lower deck, making it easy to access for crabbing. All issues that were stated in previous reviews had been addressed. The sliding door worked with no issues, the outlets in main bedroom have a switch that operated them so be sure to flip the switch if the outlets aren’t working. Overall had a few scrapes and knicks on the wall but that’s to be expected in a rental. The couches in the living room looked a little dirty still, but we brought our own sheets to put over them to sit on because of that. Very pleased with this rental and will give 5 stars. No issues with company. Would stay here again.

Amazing views of the inlet

We enjoyed a short stay at your villa. The views/sunset overlooking the inlet are amazing. My sons enjoyed crabbing and fishing on the docks. Although most of the rental unit has been updated (floors/appliances) there were still some things in desperate need of repair. The sliding glass door to the screened in porch was broken. All of the folding closet doors were hard to open. Toilet paper holders were broken. The light colored couch is well worn and stained. I ended up covering it with a sheet before we sat on it. The pull out sofa bed was dirty and stained and I was thankful that I brought an air mattress with me. The mattress in the master bedroom is very thin and uncomfortable. The unit has dish as the tv provider and no local channels were available. Having a career in broadcasting....I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to see what the local news had to offer (always trying to fine tune my craft) but that was only my issue. The weather stripping around the exterior master bedroom door is coming off and kept falling down once you opened the door. The outside deck cushions were moldy and torn so we were not able to enjoy that part of the deck. Overall we had a good stay bc we enjoyed the beach/inlet and property during the day; but a few tweaks would make this a 5 star stay.

Condo was not in good condition. Patio door broken prevented ability to go out on porch. Outlets in master bathroom didn’t work. Didn’t have pool key for first several days. It took two calls on hold for 45 minutes to report issues. Will not stay here again.

Beautiful view but lacking comfort!

The ad says it’s close to the beach but it’s as far away from the beach as you can be on an island! The beds were not comfortable nor stable. The dining table was worn and wobbly. It was nice to have a pool close but the restrooms there were never taken care of. I’ve stayed elsewhere on Seabrook Island and was in love with it. I’m very happy that this experience wasn’t my first impression or I would never return. Just a word of caution. The SI Amentity card will cost you so be certain that you will use it or only get a limited number of days! The place I’ve stayed before included the card without an additional charge!

Relaxing, quiet location with amazing view.

View is amazing. Condo has been updated and is comfortable and quiet. It was totally relaxing. Check-in and check-out with Wyndham were super easy and the staff was extremely friendly. We like to cook and found the kitchen very well stocked with the pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, and dishes we needed. We would have appreciated the following. Pest control, (there were roaches). Change the refrigerator water filter. It's so clogged that water does not flow. Provide soap and hand towel in upstairs bathroom. Provide DVD player and music player. Provide code for dock gate. A clothes dresser would have been nice. We ended up keeping our clothes in our suitcases. And artwork on the walls would be nice. There were two pictures in the living room but otherwise the walls are bare. Overall, we had a great experience and would return.

Great view but the unit was a disappointment

The view of the marsh was amazing and we enjoyed watching the sea birds. However the unit had quite a few issues. It was very chilly on the evening we arrived so we looked for a blanket for curling up on the couch with, hmmm no blankets or extra linens in ANY of the closets, so just turned up the heat. Master bedroom mattress was a marshmallow so we had to sleep in the guest bedroom (double bed) mattress was very soft but the better of the two choices. Guest bathroom shower pipes screamed the whole time water was on, exhaust fan was extremely loud and really didn't seem to work well. The sink faucet was very weak, cold water trickled out. First use of the powder room on the dining level, noticed there were NO hand towels. Kitchen level only had two hand towels and the filtered water in the refrigerator door only came out at a trickle. There were also issues not under the owner's control. The neighbors played their stereo loudly during the majority of our stay. In addition it needs to be pointed out that there are 27 steps from the entry level up to the kitchen level. We would not return to this unit.
